Service has really taken a downturn over the years. Have been going here for the past two years, even after they were closed down for a few weeks a couple of months ago. Came in today and ordered a classic milk tea through the tablet at 5:38 pm. 3 other people came in after me and that’s when the employee came out. She looked at my order and then took the order of the three who came after me. Afterwards, she proceeded to make the order of those after me, even though she saw mine. She didn’t even make mine until after she made the other 3, of which the same gentleman who ordered wanted to place another order and his companion said that he should let the worker finish my drink first. Took 17 minutes for the employee to make finish my drink of which she took out the big pitcher of milk tea, put it in a cup and put ice over it, all of which took 30 seconds. I’m a creature of habit and have always taken my friends and family here but I’ve noticed the service really decline over the past few times, but today really took the cake. No acknowledgment from the employee that she skipped my order, but 17 minutes for a simple drink at somewhere that’s not busy is a little ridiculous. It’s almost impossible that she didn’t see my order, of which she could’ve started while making the others but I can tell when someone is deliberately avoiding you. Sad but will have to look for a...
Read moreI went here with a few friends earlier today. This is important to note because the store was small and because of the furniture on the sides, it was hard to social distance once another customer entered the store. That is simply something to be mindful of when visiting during a pandemic, but it didn't change our opinions on the menu items.
I got a matcha float with brown sugar boba and REALLY enjoyed it. The soft serve ice cream had a natural, milky flavor and wasn't too sweet. The matcha latte drink was literally just matcha powder on top of milk (not mixed). I don't like sweet things, but with neither the milk tea nor ice cream being sweet, the drink felt a little unbalanced. I still really liked it, but if you like sweet things maybe get something else.
Friend #1 got the tiramisu milk tea and liked it. In fact, he finished his drink very quickly haha. Friend #2 got a dirty boba soft serve and also really enjoyed it. He said the brown sugar syrup was flavorful and complimented the soft serve well.
I have been looking forward to visiting MilkCow for a while and I was not disappointed!! I'll be coming back to try other...
Read moreWe used to be regulars at Milk Cow. The soft serve was creamy, decadent, and worth every penny. Then Sweet Cow bought it — and it’s been downhill ever since.
First of all, the ice cream? It’s no longer ice cream — it’s ice with a dash of cream, if you’re lucky. Grainy, watery, and disappointing in a way that feels personal. You can literally taste the corporate takeover in every spoonful. It’s like they fired the cows and hired ice cubes.
They didn’t just change the name — they changed everything that made Milk Cow special. What was once a hidden gem has now been stripped, rebranded, and sold back to us as a cheap knockoff. And for what? Higher prices and lower quality? The audacity.
Honestly, McDonald’s soft serve — yes, McDonald’s — puts this sad Sweet Cow swirl to shame. You could buy two cones there, and they’d still cost less and taste better than the icy disaster you’ll get here.
Sweet Cow, if you’re reading this: not everything needs a corporate glow-up. Sometimes, simple and authentic wins. But you didn’t just miss the mark — you lost the...
