Tostada Regia Pasadena — Restaurant in Pasadena

I had a bad experience during my visit yesterday. First I want to say my family and I enjoy going to tostada regia therefore we decided to go eat there. My husband and son ordered fideos with their foods. I have a 7month old who was sitting on the highchair on the left side of the table. Well when the waitress comes she places the HOT SOUP right infront of my 7 month old. I immediately dragged it towards me but while i was doing that it was too late my son touched the soup with his little hand and his hand arm got burned. We where honestly so upset we didnt even want to eat anymore because we where upset this happend to our baby and could have easily been prevented if the waitress was more aware of what she was doing. Thankfully the soup was not extremely HOT if not that would have been another scenario and we would not have dealt with this the way we did. The staff did bring the emergency burn gel and we applied it to my baby immediately & ran water over his arm first. Baby was okay after a couple minutes. His hand was slightly red & we just reapplied the iointment. Also made sure to look out for any blistering which thankfully he did not get the ointment really helped him and putting it on at home did as well. Also the waitress never came back to say she was sorry or anything. The manager took over the table. And kept asking if everything was ok. Clearly not but just thankful it was not a critical burn & was not on the rest of the body. Overall this visit at the restaurant did not go...

First time here and is not a place we will be visiting again soon. I know there's other locations and may think about checking those out but this one in Pasadena we will not be visiting again. It was a long wait for us to be seated which is understandable for a party of 8 but a party of 7 that came after us got seated first. It was 15 minutes before we had a waitres come ask for our order. I told her it was 3 people for our ticket and she said they had a new system so that when we pay at the register when we're done that we just tell them what we had. I ordered the sopes plate and that was good. My husband said the menudo was alright. Only once after we received our food did we have anyone come check to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. No to go boxes offered. Paying our ticket was a hassle. The lady was charging everything to one ticket(because our waitress put it all together) and took at least 10 minutes of back and forth with the cash register person to get it done. We just had a menudo, sopes plate, cup of broth, and a horchata and jamaica but for whatever reason this lady was not comprehending and still trying to have everything on one ticket. The place is small and crowded. Parking is limited. We had to park across the street. Maybe for a one or two person eat out its a good option, maybe other waitresses are good, I'm not sure. When I moved to the area back in May, I was so excited to see there was a location near me. So I would order take out (either pick up or Uber eats) frequently and it was always phenomenal. But within the last few months the quality of the food and service has drastically worsened. I ordered flautas through Ubereats and they didn't provide the sour cream/guacamole/salsa AKA the best part of the meal! I was bummed but decided to give them another chance yesterday. We ordered for pick up...tried calling to place an order and they never answered the phone, so we drove and placed an order through the drive thru (waited almost 20 minutes, the place was empty so not sure why it took so long). Our side order of beans was 90% broth, the fajita torta was so salty it was inedible, fries that came with it were soggy and had that re-heated taste to them. My Tostada Regia was a mess. It was mostly sour cream and guacamole with a sprinkle of chicken. We called to complain and the lady over the phone was very defensive and said we could come back so they could remake it... I was on my lunch break and that was simply not an option. I didn't touch the food and wanted my money back, which they agreed to after I hounded them about it.
