Very disturbing experience! I've been ordering at this location on and off for years. Recently a friend and I ordered from the drive thru paid for 2 combos, separate orders. NOT busy. Told to pull around and wait for orders. After 15 mins and no service we pulled around again. We're handed the first order, still waiting on the second . My passenger opened the chicken sandwich combo then states it tastes like it's been fried with fish, and DOESN'T eat fish! Employee returned to the window as my displeased passenger asked for a refund. Only to then have an assistant manager say she wasn't refunding our money, only another meal. As frustration builds the unsatisfied customer demands money back , being told NO. The argumentative manager states she will not give a return, will be fired for contacting her boss about the issue, as she lives in a motel . The now angry customer said if the job was done correctly there wouldn't be a problem or risk in losing her job.etc....The asst.manager then threatened to call the law if we didn't leave the premises saying if we want our money to come back tomorrow and complain to the actual manager as she slams the drive thru window refusing to communicate any longer. So she stole both customers money, because I never received the other order through all this nor my money back!! (No Food No money back ) and threatening customers! A disgrace really . Read moreOn National Cheeseburger Day, my son and I decided to pick up dinner from Wendy's....We live near Sylvan Beach so they are not exactly right around the corner from us. Once we get there, I tried to open my Wendy's App to apply discounts for that day but it wouldn't open. I asked my son to open his, same problem (buffering, would not open) I let the drive through employee know we had a problem with their App and if we could somehow apply discounts for National Cheeseburger Day another way he said he was aware of the problem (apparently other customers before me complained they could not open App either) he said he could not do that. So I asked to speak to the Manager. He advised she was in a meeting and had just gotten there 10 minutes ago. I asked him for her name, he said her name is Maria and her meetings are pretty long everday after just coming in. Needless to say, we did not get help regarding the Wendy's App and this was very very disappointing because we could have gone somewhere else and surly gotten a discount at another fast food place. Which WE SHOULD HAVE DONE because our cheeseburgers (the patties) were hard, dry and cold...and they neglected to fill the large orders of fries all the way up ABD their soda machine was down! Read moreI usually don't leave a comment because I'm not a hater, but today's service from this location was trash! I walked in to the door being locked when the sign clearly said they're open. To see a person on their cell phone sitting in the dining area. When they let me in it looked like a staff of 3 people. I stood at the counter for about ten minutes as they walked passed me back and forth pretending I wasn't standing there waiting. Finally the person at drive thru was told to help me and took my order. It was breakfast time and the breakfast menu was turned around to be viewed. After ordering my meal they took a long time to make it and I had to remind them I was waiting. I finally got my meal. I was so angry I wanted to tell them about how terrible and lazy they were . But it wouldn't change them to do better. I left out a lot of details because I didn't want to sound petty over non relevant stuff I was focusing on the lack of quality and professional behavior in their workplace.
