El Jardin Restaurant — Restaurant in Passaic

Food is great, natural juices are amazing if anything ill be getting a juice over the food as i usually do few times a week every week. Called to place a order for 2 juices over the phone to where they ask for my name and number i let them know im 2 min away to just have it ready they say okay, i go in and its not ready the manager says oh we dont take orders over the phone without a name and number. Keep in mind i have called This establishment to where they tell me my own name without me telling them. Is this for “x”. I am 2 min away the time it takes for me to divolge information is the time it takes the make the juice. To where the manager feels its imperative to go back and forth with me about the fact they dont take orders over the phone without a name and number.. so explain to me why the person on the phone said okay ? Explain why it was necessary to go back and forth with me for an extra 2 min about something before my drink was even being made. This upsets me as i was told the juice would be made over the phone and then i got there and it was not done. This is bad business. Now i have to find elsewhere to get some...

I have been here a few times, every single time the biggest turn off is the waiting time, and specially the customer service. I had to stand up at least 4 times to ask for items. It took them 15 minutes to realize we were in the restaurant, and that's because I walked to the counter and told them we wanted to order, after that it was a good 6 to 8 minutes before someone came to the table. I had to walk twice to the counter to ask for our drinks!!!!! They bring what they call the large drink, to a table where there's 2 people sitting, with no cups and only one straw!!!!!! Really!!! Then they bring the carne asada fries and no sharing plates and only one fork!!!!!! I had to go back to the counter and ask for it..... come on!!!! It is ridiculous. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! WE CAME BACK AND LOOK AT THE SALSA THEY SERVE WITH THE TORTILLAS, WE ATE THE FIRST SMALL BOWL , WE ASKED FOR ANOTHER ONE IT CAME WITH TORTILLAS THAT SOME OTHER CUSTOMER DROPPED IN THERE.... THIS IS DISGUSTING!!!! ARE THEY RECYCLING THE SALSA!!!? ARE THEY JUST THROW IT BACK IN THE CONTAINER AND SERVING IT AGAIN???!!! HEALTH...

my co-workers and I ordered from this place today for lunch through Uber Eats. They only delivered two items out of the 5 we ordered. I called the store and was on the phone with them for 30 + minutes, first they made the excuse about Uber Eats not showing the full order, then got back on the phone and said they have a new girl working there and she didn't pack the order correctly. I asked if they could deliver the rest of the items to us, she then took down our address and said she doesn't know if they can deliver to us and they need to confirm with their manager (who was not on site) she then proceeds to tell me that they need to charge me an extra $18 in order to deliver the food to us. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that she can't reach the manager because she's not there and not answering her phone. How can a business run like this when you have 5 year old's answering the phone and taking orders? The tacos were decent.. I've had better, the beef tacos were good but the chicken were extra dry.
