I've been to the Noches in Paterson, Clifton, Little Ferry etc.... All great experiences. 2nd time coming here to Passaic, the 1st time I had an issue with my Salman Salad, they forgot the romaine, corn, beets, avocado, onions, dressing, Salmon was small and burnt. Spoke to Adriana the Supervisor and issued partialy fix. Ate because I was hungry. Decided to give it the benefit of the dought this time around. Big Mistake. Me and my friend place our Orders. 1st were our drinks 17$ for a half a Pitcher of Red Sangria.Took 1 sip and we both were dying it was beyond dried and it tasted like licorice. My friend then order a Picadito de Carne came with Pork, Beef, Sausage and 2 sides. Pork had no meat, beef was chewy, sausage was good. Ask for lemon got it 20 minutes after his plate ask for hot sauce and got a dried one with nothing in the container. As for me I order a Chicken and Shrimp salad, to my surprise same issue as the 1st, except the girl waiter was argumentative Stating the Salad does not come with it, then came back the 2nd time stating they were out. Ask if I'll like a 2nd side DISH. Never explained if it was extra?! In the end I change my Whole order to Chicken and Shrimp with mushrooms sauce and 2 side dish. The girl waiter began to say that it didnt come with the Mushrooms and that its 1 side not 2. At that point I order whatever. My friend then ask for a Pepsi to replace the Wine. While I sat another hour waiting for my 2nd dish, meanwhile I pick out of his food. We ask our waitress to put my Meal to go and to add hotsause on the side. While waiting 2 hours, Kids were running everywhere, people bumped into me and others multiple times. This place is way to cramp! The line was long to use the bathroom which btw they only have 1 for both women and men. The whole time I smiled and stood Optimistic. We explained to our waitress about the Wine and if we can get a new one totally ignored us. In the end no Food but a Check. We were Charged for everything, so I get up and speak to the supervisor Adriana which tells me she take care of the receipt and make us a new sangria. I ask nicely if I can change it to the Passion Fruit Sangria and have it to go since we were already waiting Hours for my food. She said it was not a problem to replace it and take it to go. The supervisor then comes to our table with our new receipt and brings us the 1/2 pitcher of Sangria. Both me and my friend Puzzle ask if we can get it to go, she then says "no" that it was impossible and that she had mistaken what I said with the Food we had to go. So we ask nicely to get are money back for the Sangria we never drank. At this point after 3 to 4 hours, I get my food to go and our 17$ for the Sangria. Lastly I open the to go container at Home. Chicken was delicious, tomatoes tasted like fridge, 3 pieces of shrimp uncooked and No sides. Save your time and Money, not worth...
Read moreI had an absolutely fantastic experience at Noches de Colombia in Passaic, and I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I walked into the vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere, I felt welcomed by the warm ambiance and the enticing aromas of authentic Colombian cuisine. The circular red booths and lively energy made it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. Our server, Daniella, truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering spot-on recommendations with a genuine smile. Her enthusiasm for the food made us even more excited to try everything! The service was fast, and Daniella ensured our drinks were refilled and every need was met without ever feeling rushed. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The empanadas were crispy, flavorful, and a must-try, as promised by other reviews. I went for the Lomo Saltado, and the sautéed sirloin steak with rice was cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic Colombian flavors. The portions were generous, and the presentation felt like a loving nod to homemade cooking. We also indulged in their famous Colombian coffee and a dessert that was, quite frankly, to die for. The restaurant was clean, the music added to the festive vibe, and the staff’s dedication to creating a welcoming environment was evident. Daniella’s exceptional service, paired with the outstanding food, made this visit unforgettable. Noches de Colombia in Passaic is a gem for anyone craving authentic, delicious Colombian fare. I’ll definitely be back next time...
Read moreFirst of all service is horrible!! Way below average. Our Waitress was flat. Didn’t even try to smile! She probably wasn’t fond of my table. Only 3 of us. She served our food with such displeasure, handed our drinks first and left. Didn’t bother to check on us at all. After looking for her, I made eye contact with her because I needed a water for my child, and then she disappear again. I get it, we are only humans but if you don’t enjoy your job, go elsewhere. Im sure your attitude is not appreciated by many patrons. Patrons who help pay your salary. Second, food was tasteless, lack of salt and any other seasoning. My tostones were dry, I mean they should but not like that. Their pre-made hamburger & crinkle fries were decent. My daughter chicken Milanese was ok, but her rice was horrible. Their habichuelas were ok. My daughter had a side of chorizo and it was super dry like it had been out for a day… I am very disappointed if their lack of flavor & overall unwelcoming service. It wasn’t worth the hour drive, not like it used to be!! Also, check your checks, mine had a 10% gratuity included when they brought it to me, and when they gave me the slip from my credit card they were asking for more tip. How & why? Her tips is base on the service provided, I usually tip 20% but her skills were below 10. Take your money elsewhere, like the one in Clifton they are actually friendlier & their food...
