I think I may have just found my new go-to taco spot. They only serve tacos here, so you know it's gotta be legit. That's where they spend all their time and focus. We pretty much tried one of each taco, except the suadero (beef) and the chicken. Hubby went and ordered in person, for takeout. We had lengua, longaniza, tripe, carnitas, al pastor, and pork skin. My favorites were the pork skin, al pastor, and longaniza. There were some that we ordered more than one of but we realized they gave us something else in place of it, so just beware of that. The tacos come with these mini grilled onions. I usually like onions but these lacked any sort of flavor. The salsas that the tacos come with were good, including an avocado-based (?) one. Some tacos didn't need any sauce but some needed an extra little something and the salsas were perfect for this. They serve radishes on the side, which I usually don't eat because they're bitter but they were actually fresh here.
We didn't eat the tacos until we reheated them maybe an hour or two later but they were still delicious. Will definitely have to dine in next time for the full experience. And the best part? 4...
Read moreTo start off the tacos here are AMAZING. You might be wondering why the two stars then? Well though the food is good the service here isn’t. First the guys that make the tacos are very slow. The last few times I’ve gone there are always around 6 guys working in the kitchen area and if they have a ticket in front of them ALL the guys work on the same order instead of some working on it and others taking the customers orders. Because of that, the line becomes long and it’s totally unnecessary for ALL of them to work in a SINGLE order. By the time it’s your turn to order your tacos sometimes these guys are on a bad mood already like it’s not our fault you guys can’t be organized. Anyways let’s get to the cashier staff. There’s always this one blond hair, chubby girl that for some reason she’s always on a mood. It’s like if you were taking the food without paying. Like if you don’t like your job just go and find something better. Overall, the food is great but the staff aren’t. As a suggestion this place should add aguas frescas since they only sell soda and not everyone...

We've been going to Mexico Restaurant for years because they had the unusual meats. But I just thought I would try Yelp and Google to see if there are other taqueria around.
We're happy to try Taqueria Los Amigos V.M. and it was a good choice.
They remind me of the Taqueria we went to in San Diego, where you make a line for the taco meat you want. And you can get as many you want. Los Amigos was not as busy, so we just went from one section to the next very quickly.
Hubby misunderstood and got 2 different meats. I didn't even think about it and got 1 each LOL
4 tacos for $10. They were stuffed, not slim like taco bell tacos.
Cuerito - so sticky and good
Tripa - this was good
Carnita - pretty plain and had to use green salsa to give it flavor
Al Pastor - get a slice of pineapple and flavorful
Longaniza - it was ok. It was very crumbed, like how Noches Columbia does their picadillo
I like the bright colors around the restaurant.
The guys serving the meats were very helpful.
Definitely will go back to try the...
