Eterna Tea Coffee & Grocery — Restaurant in Paterson

I dont ever write reviews but I’ve had it with this place, three times in a row they sell us moldy food, so today 12/31/21 New Years Eve when you would think everything is fresh since people buy a lot, my husband bought some cake and brought it home after i had half of the piece I realized there is mold in it, so we called the store to let them know their cake has mold so they dont end up selling the rest of it, and the lady had the decency to tell us to bring back the cake and she will give us the $6 back. Thats where i lost it, considering we shop there at least 3 times a week and this being the third time they sell us food with mold in it i dont think I’ll ever eat anything from this store ever again. I just hope i wont end up with food poisoning but im keeping pictures of the cake packaging and receipt just in case. Also almost every time we buy Boza like 8 out of 10 times that I bought some it was bad i told the staff but they dont care and dont seem to handle...

Exceptionally rude staff that serves people of their own ethnicity before others who come in speaking English, like literally 3 people in front of me and then the lady says sorry when I gave her a dirty look.

I live around the corner, these people never wear masks or gloves, not while working and not while serving. One of them actually yelled at my mother because she told them they should mask up, and she said I don't need to wear a mask, I have to wear one because of you. Are these people dense, would you want customers not to come in so you can not have to put on a mask.

Most of the products here are overpriced or expired.

The store has so much variety of items. From delicious chocolates and sweets to coffee to household necessities.They have a coffee area on the back left side that makes espressos and coffee. They have a section that you can purchase delicious food already made which was delightful and tasty. I came in for a coffee but unfortunately the coffee shop was closed that day. The lady behind the counter in the front was so nice and gave wonderful customer service especially I didn’t have an idea on certain things. They have a parking lot in front for the customers...
