Panchito's Restaurant — Restaurant in Paterson

The chicken was undercooked, sent back and the chicken came back dry and without flavor. The aji was very bland and not like back in the day when it was hot and spicy. No straws available and the bathroom was filthy and disgusting with no soap available. AVOID!! I went to Panchitos the other evening and did not have a pleasant experience. Fries - had the texture of wet underwear; probably was purchased in bulk at great discount(probably because they where expired or had freezer burn). Chicken - undercooked, did not have the same crispiness, and the flavor was definitely not the same as in the past, maybe the chicken was in reality a large pigeon that they caught? I believe they might have sold expired chicken. The SERVICE was horrendous, the waitress with long black hair and bad breath was unfriendly, gave us the NASTIEST look when we ask for a container to take our ají home. We usually go once a month or once every to month, but we won’t be back ever again. Panchitos was a good Peruvian establishment , too bad the terrible service and poor quality food has ruined that. Much like paterson the food is nasty and the bathroom smells like an average street in paterson. Go somewhere else people! There’s NO good pollo a la brasa in Paterson or...

Took my Mother in law here for a late Mother's Day dinner. We got a variety of different dishes to share among each other. My mother in law got ceviche but wasn't too happy bc the fish was still super raw but everything else in the dish was tasty so, she just ate around it. The chaufa mixto was really good, Had lots of flavor. A plate of jalea was a nice portion for the price you pay. Not too crispy like other restaurants makes it where you can't enjoy it. This plate had a variety of seafood and nice chunks of it that you can actually enjoy all the flavors. The pollo a la brasa was so good ,it came with fries and a salad. Everything was good with the exception of the raw fish and yes we are aware that ceviche is raw seafood but there's a difference and you can definitely tell if something is edible or not. Other than that, the place is very nice and clean. For me being in a wheelchair, it's hard to go to certain restaurants bc they lack of space or the service you would receive is not too welcoming being in a wheelchair and some places don't want to or have the space to accommodate you. The only reason they good 2 stars is because the food is good, apart from that this place is bad!!!! Food takes FOREVER to arrived, you order something and 45 minutes later the next thing u order comes, place is cold, bathroom are nasty, cold and not even toliet paper, they don't have heat!!!!. The counter lady gives you an attitude is you ask for anything! They don't seat you....you have to come and see where yoy may fit, I had to get up from my table 5 times!! once to ask to be serve, 2 to ask for forks, 3 to ask for salt! 4 to ask for napkins, and last to ask for my check, because they don't come to ask if everything is ok....i had asked 6 times for a spoon!!!!
