BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Paw Paw Township

On 09/24/2021 I waited in line for over 30 minutes, and I was the 2nd vehicle! The vehicle in front of me waited 10 minutes before the window ever opened to take his $. Then he waited 15 minutes more for his order. As we waited, I assumed he had a very large order. Nope. He got one drink. One! Then I pulled forward, saw at least 4 workers inside. Could one have been the manager?? Anyway, after waiting over 10 minutes I was handed a 16 oz coffee. I ordered a 20 oz. I brought this to the barista's attention, who replied Oh. Grabbed the 16 oz and closed the window. A few moments later the window opened, I was handed a 20 oz drink and left. This was the worst drink I have ever experienced! I love Biggby and make an effort to get a coffee here every time I am in Michigan. When I was able to stop and check out this coffee, it was white. Apparently, only the milk and sweetener were added, there wasn't any espresso!! You pay good money for these coffees and after waiting as long as I did, there is no excuse for this awful mistake. Sadly...

Well the employees are nice, no complaints there BUT they took 30 minutes to get me my order of 2 drinks and one bragel.... On top of that, in a different biggbys location in South Haven, they hired my son(who has a white sounding name) and them when they hired him in, they discrimated against him because he's half Latino and has ADD but he worked so freaking hard and they still fired him. Made him being in many forms of I. D. to "prove his citizenship ". Told him he didn't pass some test that no one helped him study on nor did they give him any reference material or tell him what it was about. It was clearly a scapegoat reasoning. But whatever, point being that their coffee always tastes burnt and never tastes like what's advertised. The matcha tea smoothies...

I'm very torn on how to give a star review for this establishment. My family frequents multiple Biggby locations from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Illinois. The drinks were delicious and staff were very polite, but it took 20 minutes to complete our transaction and receive our drinks from the time our order was placed. We were the 4th car in the drive thru and it equalled a very hectic pile up. The design of this locations drive thru could use vast improvement. This was our longest wait time; would we likely return? Yes, however only for a inside experience. This was the poorest experience we have encountered, but hopeful to see improvement in the future with it being a newly opened...
