Naz's Halal Food - Pawtucket — Restaurant in Pawtucket

What a disappointment. I remember my first Gyros (not from this place) way back in the day in Florida. Sooo good. Loaded with tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and the most delicious cucumber yoghurt sauce that actually tasted like cucumber. That was then. I haven’t had a Gyro in many years and decided to give this place a try as I was looking for something different open after hours. Well forget nicely roasted hot shaved lamb and luscious veggies and sauce. The lam was a relatively tasteless diced meat (weird!) and the veggies were also diced real small. You could taste cucumber and feel the crunch but not the tomatoes. And the sauce was terrible. Did not taste like yoghurt and not cucumber. You could taste the dill but it wasn’t real good. And as eating everything—all that diced stuff—was falling out of the sandwich into the crevices of my car. (I literally just cleaned deep into the crevasses the other day!) and the lang was not hot it was mildly, very mildly, warm. And the menus is really lacking. The server was so nice I have to say, but the food terrible. I tried the falafel and it was terrible. Dried up little crisps. I like all kinds of ethnic foods do this has nothing to do with my palette. The food was just terrible. Make me wonder how in the world it gets high ratings...

Trust me when i say this place is a hidden gem for those living far away like me in New bedford,Ma we came here even when the weather began to get bad hailing snowing wind blowing really bad we get got there we walk inside we seen her smile when we first walked in it allready it felt like a great place very welcoming and friendly place we ordered cheese fries,lamb over rice,chicken over rice,fish gyro, mozerella sticks, soo good food was amaaaazing she was very nice friendly i would def be telling everyone about this wonderful locationand very lovely women/ that took our order thank you for the generous food we took home my son loves the food so much hes like mom we have to go get some more food he loved the food we visit Saturday March12th 2022 thank you keep up the amazing work good luck i hipe it stays open for many years to come i hope next tim i can try the mac& cheese bites and the sweet corn Nuggets that will sell its apart of american dishes people will def love hope to visit and try those two items on the...

In all cheap prices and the cost to quality is point on. It's great and the food despite me and a few friends going late at night was still fresh and good. The staff was helpful and kind. Did you know that vanilla cola comes in cans! Because I bought a can with my drink and it's as sweet as I remember. You can also can a can of cherry coca cola as well.

Red sauce is proper spicy but has flavor so it's not just chilli powder with a sprinkle of oil.

White sauce is proper.

Green isnt spicy but has a nice herb touch.

Didn't try the BBQ.

The plate came with a small portion of salad of which I didn't find tomatoes, mostly consisted of lettuce and cucumbers, and maybe one other vegtable that I think is potatoes!? Regardless it tasted great.

Lamb is diced up while the chicken is in small pieces but cooked proper and seasoned all over. NOT shawarma style. In all tasted great and the hot sauce just blends all flavors together.

Did I mention prices. Darn reasonable and better than halal guys and other...
