We chose to come because we were craving some Chinese buffet. The reviews online weren't attractive but since this is the only big buffet around the area we decided to give it a go with pretty low expectations. We came pretty late at around 8 pm (they close at 10) on MLK day. There was a sign that said that even if it was a Monday, they'll be charging a holiday price. It's not that much of a difference: regular $15.99, weekends/holidays $16.99. When we went inside there was someone to attend to us immediately and we got our table right away. The interior is very dark. There were very little lights on inside except for the warmer lights for the food counters. We were sat by the windows and requested to sit somewhere away from the big glass windows because it was very cold outside. They happily obliged and told us we can sit pretty much anywhere, which was still cold but it worked. I started with the grill. There wasn't much options but they were decent. The proteins were chicken, beef, imitation crab, shrimp, and there were a bit of vegetables if you choose not to eat fish or meats. I'll say that if you have allergies or strict dietary restrictions, do not go to the grill area. The grill cross-contaminate and they cook everything in one spot. Multiple people's dishes at once. There were options for sauce like teriyaki sauce, garlic, etc. I left it to the cook to choose my sauces and mine tasted decent. 8/10 I got a spicy tuna sushi and some other proteins like salmon. I saw that they were still refilling the sushi bar at that hour. The sushi was bland and the rice was cold. The salmon had no taste, just a lot of salt. I found that majority of the food was heavily salted but had very little flavour, which indicates that they are not fresh. I am giving a fair rate of 5/10 for the hot foods because it was an hour before closing and they might have had only the leftovers left on the counters, but the sushi was a solid 2/10 because they just did not have any taste and it was cold. The ice cream was also pretty much out so I didn't get to taste as much. It was pretty hard to get them out of the buckets. I wish it was replaced more regularly. The ice cream counter smelled like strong bleach though for some reason. The whole time we were dining, the servers were timely in taking our plates away and served us with a smile. Water was served quickly. Everyone was pleasant. By the time we wanted to pay, they didn't ask for a tip at the counter so we gave them cash directly. 10/10 service. The bathrooms were very clean, it smelled like bleach from the door to the stalls, and the floors looked like they were recently mopped. Just a tip, maybe go light on the bleach because the bleach smell was very strong. Otherwise very clean and tidy. Overall if I came back it would be for the grill and service.

This is the first buffet we visited when we first moved to RI and we’ve visited it a few more times. It was pretty good. This time it wasn’t. Very small dessert selection. The food was mostly bland. Definitely would’ve liked more flavor in all the meats for example. The area to the back right, where we were seated, was dark and the floor was slippery. The women’s bathroom floor was wet. It did have a sign but it didn’t look like it was from mopping (unless they really didn’t squeeze the mop). It was gross and getting muddy quickly from people walking on all that “water”. Will definitely be looking for another buffet to take the family.

Two or three times a year I get a craving for the diversity of food you can get at a buffet. Buffet restaurants were more common a couple decades ago. Most are now Asian. Personally I am a sampler who likes to try a small amount of numerous items on the menu. At least on my first plate. Then for the second plate I go back for fruits and some favorites to close out the meal. Being able to select out low carb & low sugar options is an advantage for the health of some individuals in a large buffet location.

The food is not so bad. Actually, this is not real Chinese buffet. It is American buffet style. Where is real Chinese foods ? The grilled chicken wings and legs were overcooked and burn. TOO DRY!! I noticed most cookers are Mexican. Not very friendly. Their face looks sad and frown. I tried to be friendly with them. They aren't. VERY SAD! AND EMBARRASSMENT! What wrong with the manager ? Why can't she or he train them to be friendly and respect customers ? Very poor train. Also, they always cooked the same food over and over. Too much salt and sugar. Not healthy. And the service was terrible. Some are friendly and some waiters was not patient and waiting for our checks while we enjoyed our chat and relax but keep watched us for a while and it wasnt comfortable for us. I know, they wants our tips. Its not very nice. Very rude. They have to stop watching us and its not very polite. And the atmosphere was terrible. And I noticed some kids licked their own hands before used the ladle spoons to reach the foods. DISGUSTING. I have to go to bathroom to wash my hands before I ate. They arent doing something about it. And I noticed that pepper shaker isn't clean. They need to clean it often. The lights werent bright and it was so dim. It wasnt good for eyes. I put 2 stars, sorry. It is being truthful. I will increase the stars when they improve the atmosphere and service. Maybe added newer food every 6 months to attracted people more. It is bored and always same food. I am not coming back anymore. My last...

I went there on a Saturday for the lunch buffet and was skeptical about the quality of food because the buffet's low price.

I tried the basic Asian foods they offer, like boneless spareribs, chicken wings, sesame chicken, honey chicken, general Tao chicken, beef with vegetables, crab Rangoon, sauté mushrooms, Japanese chicken, egg custard, sushi rolls and egg rolls.

I have to say that all were pretty tasty. They could have been a little hotter, but that would have dried them out a little. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food offered at their low price. Usually buffets similar to this cost at least $15-$20, at least in the Boston area.

There's fish, clams, other seafood, chicken, beef, pork, pizza, Mac & cheese, fried foods, onion rings, French fries, Asian cuisines, American cuisines and a bunch of other foods.

They have a grill where a chef cooks foods for you and you can pick what you want, from their selections. This was ok, too.

The seating was ample and the place is fairly large. Try not to face the windows because the sun shines into your eyes.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They asked to remove used plates, quickly. There were plenty of staff around, so it was not hard to find someone if you need something.

I liked my visit to Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet and recommend this restaurant.

For the price of the buffet (3people with drinks and tip was under $40) I give it 4.5/5 stars.

I wish they would move closer...
