Exceptional Dining Experience at Rasoi Restaurant
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rasoi Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. Here's why I believe this restaurant deserves a 5-star review:
First and foremost, the tandoori chicken at Rasoi Restaurant is simply outstanding. The chicken was marinated to perfection, infused with a harmonious blend of spices that created an explosion of flavors in every bite. The meat was tender and juicy, with a smoky aroma that added to the overall experience. It was undeniably the best tandoori chicken I have ever tasted, and it left me craving for more.
Additionally, the freshness of the food at Rasoi was remarkable. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I could sense the aroma of freshly prepared ingredients. Each dish was made with care and attention to detail, using high-quality ingredients that enhanced the overall taste and texture. The vegetables were crisp and vibrant, and the flavors of the herbs and spices were bold and authentic.
Apart from the exceptional food, the service at Rasoi was top-notch. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to offer recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. The overall dining experience was made even more enjoyable by their warm and professional service.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The decor was tasteful and created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Whether dining with family, friends, or on a romantic occasion, Rasoi Restaurant provides the perfect setting for a memorable meal.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Rasoi Restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. The tandoori chicken is an absolute must-try, showcasing the mastery of flavors and culinary expertise. The freshness of the food, combined with excellent service and a pleasant ambiance, make Rasoi a standout restaurant in its own right. I cannot wait to return and indulge in their culinary delights once again.
Note: Personal experiences may vary, but based on my own visit, I wholeheartedly give this restaurant a 5-star rating for its exceptional food, particularly the tandoori chicken, and its commitment to freshness...
Read moreReviews were great so we thought of stopping by this weekend. From the outside, the restaurant looked underwhelming but changed as soon as you enter. The layout is quite different. There is a bar seating as well but we went at around 5-5:30 PM EST and did not see anyone there. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a lot of food and I mean a lot for 2 people. So let me start with the food. IPA - Good Mango Lassi - Not good. It tasted very diluted. For $5, that's pretty expensive for a watery lassi. Chicken Tandoori - Excellent. Don't order the potato masala. We did a mistake there. Should have just taken rice. The potato masala is basically the masala put in masala dosas and I am not a big fan of that taste. The lentil which came with the tandoori was too good. Bengali mutton - I have no idea why it's called Bengali!! I am from Bengal and a pure Bong. If you say Bengali mutton, my mind goes to mutton kosha or even homemade mutton and Bengalis love potatoes in mutton which it did not have. So I wouldn't rate this at 5. I will give it 3 just for the mutton pieces. It wasn't chewy, unlike other restaurants. Bengali seafood stew - Again why is it Bengali?? Just adding peas doesn't make the food Bengali. In Bengal, prawn/shrimp curry is famous but it's mostly malaikari. But this was very salty and bland. So I would give a 1. It's expensive as well. Chicken Biryani - Noooo. How can you mess that up!! It was too much spice and not the authentic Indian biryani taste. At least nothing like we get in Bengal or Chennai or north India. Hard pass on biryani. Chocolate lava cake - It was good.
So overall I will say it's very expensive. Quantity is enough for two people. But don't know if our 2 hr drive...
Read moreI have not been treated so disrespectfully at a Restaurant in years. As a Chef and as a Critic I was disgusted with our treatment. We arrived and there was not a single customer and they seemed rather inattentive so we asked for a menu, informed them we were going to Antonio's pizza next door but that we wanted to order. I asked if we should call the order in or come back and place it in person. The person, I hesitate to give them the respect of calling them a Waiter, said it was fine to come back and order. We got our slices of pizza to hold us over (Great pizza and pleasant service. We shouod have just gotten dinner there.) and went and sat at the Indian restaurant's empty outside dining area. The man returned to ask us how long we planned to sit there, that it was reserved for some mythical future guests to which I replied "Just as long as it takes you to take our order and bring our food." To this he made a smart comment and left without taking our order. I called after him to ask for a napkin. He sent a second person out to deliver the message that we were not wanted as guests at their restaurant but that we could stand up and place our order when the other person had the time to come back and take our order. At their empty restaurant. We were placing a $80-$120 order and we weere treated much better buying $4 slices of Pizza at Antonio's. I will never visit this place again. I would rather eat gas station hot dogs than to be so mistreated and disrespected while trying to spend my very hard earned dollars in a pandemic. This place deserves to go out...
