The Food: Tinyâs is comfort food central and the heartbeat of Payson dining. Everything about it just works. The flavors, the cozy atmosphere, and that unmistakable hometown feel. We try to order something new each time we visit (really, we do), but itâs hard to stray from our go-tos: the Mickey Mouse pancakes for the kids, the country fried steak, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, French toast, and those incredible chicken sandwiches.
And the coffee? Letâs just say it might secretly be Folgers, but whatever it is, itâs magical. Smooth, silky, and so good you donât even need cream or sugar. You could drink a whole pot and still want another cup.
The Experience: The service here perfectly matches the Payson pace. Unhurried, friendly, and authentic. If youâre coming from the city expecting lightning-fast service and a high-energy vibe, take a breath. These are hard-working locals who take pride in what they do, and theyâll take great care of you. Just be patient and enjoy the experience.
We come here every single time weâre in Payson so itâs become a family tradition. The atmosphere is nostalgic and genuine, the food always hits the spot, and Rachel (our favorite server) is an absolute gem. Sheâs attentive, kind, and makes everyone feel like theyâre part of the Tinyâs family.
Pro Tip: Donât leave without grabbing a slice of pie, or two, to go. Itâs non-negotiable.
Final Word: Tinyâs isnât just a restaurant; itâs a Payson ritual. The food comforts, the coffee revives, and the people remind you what good hospitality feels like. Weâll keep coming back as long as theyâll have us.

Read moreStopped in this afternoon and there were a few people at the bar and 3 or 4 people in the restaurant. Place looks like it could be a nice spot to eat. The server was friendly, but did manage to bring me the wrong dish. I ordered the omelet with chili and my wife got the eggs Benedict. I really wanted to like this place and we generally support local over chains, but this was subpar. The ham in the eggs Benedict looked anemic and had a somewhat "medicine" taste to it & the hashbrowns looked liked they were reheated. My plate was bland at best đ and we realized we were pretty much done. I should have went to Crosswinds Restaurant instead... The sheer number of "mediocre" reviews regarding the food QUALITY should be taken seriously. Not appetizing looking, just ehhhh . đ€ It's also nice to see when the owner will address these reviews (via the comments), and shoot to improve, but it appears they don't care...
Definitely won't be back &...
Read moreSo walking in to Tinys feels like walking into a typical dive eatery in 1984. The decor, the flooring, the colors and look to the bar even the orange glass candle holders on the tables remind you of a time, that except for in some small mid America towns, had passed and been forgotten. Then you meet your server (they're all great but hope you get Bonnie) and this woman lights your experience on fire. Knowledgeable, friendly and hard working is the feel the place seems to take on. This isn't a place to get caviar or something that's been "harvested, foraged or flambéd" it's the place that just beat that place up and left you satisfied and thanking the good lord and all that is holy you took the chance and stayed after the 1st impression. The food is great and every year they do a free Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner for anyone who will buy a drink. Don't forget the 2+2+2 for $2... It's breakfast and...
