So, I am sure your regular pizzas are great. They looked great. But my husband is GF and came here after realizing you had GF crusts available. This review is based solely on the quality of your GF crusts in hopes that you can make it better.
The restaurant is great. Was busy. Lots of options on the menu. We ordered a GF pizza to share with a Greek Salad.
There were lots of questions multiple times from each worker is this an allergy or a preference. Which we continued to answer Allergy all the way down the line…
Understand that the real question is, “Are you celiac? Or just intolerant” Celiac means you must change gloves, you must use clean utensils and you must not work on any surfaces that were used with wheat or gluten. We said allergy and was not asked any further and each person that handled our pizza never changed gloves or worked on a different surface than the regular line. My husband is NOT celiac, it is an intolerance so this is okay for him, but had he been a celiac this could have been a huge problem. So for the sake of any future patrons, ask the question , “Are you celiac or intolerant”. The staff also understanding the difference is huge.
So now, let’s get to the pizza itself.
We ordered a #7 margherita. Upon it arriving it was super small, not even the 10” like the regular pizza. The crust is tasteless, like I mean equivalent of styrofoam. Hard at the bottom and tasteless soft goo then minimal toppings. Barely any sauce and literally no taste. We grabbed Parmesan, red pepper and salt and pepper and threw everything we could onto this pizza to try to evoke something equivalent to Margheritas we have had in the past.
We are ever so grateful you are trying to offer us an option but I implore you, keep shopping for a crust that actually has a semblance of a real pizza. They are out there and are quite great.
We spent (with the GF crust up charge) $18 for the pizza in the pictures. That is sad.
We decided then and there this would not be a repeat.
Please let us know if you bring in a crust that actually doesn’t make a GF person...
Read moreI really enjoy Your Pie's pizza, especially their gluten-free option. However, I do not enjoy their customer service. I've ordered online my last 2 visits and have been disappointed with the service I've received when I've gone to pick up my orders. My first visit, I waited in front of the pick-up counter for 10 minutes without anyone greeting me or offering to help me. The staff looked at me and walked by me numerous times, only taking the time to ask if I was two other people who were picking up, but didn't even bother to ask my name or what I was picking up. When they finally helped me the manager was apologetic and offered me a gift card for a free pizza, and I appreciated their gesture. But, when I used the free pizza card a month later they required me to pay the tax for my pizza, which surprised me as I haven't had to do that with other restaurants and their free coupons before. Again, good pizza, but I don't feel like they highly value their customers and...
Read moreI took my Dad here for his birthday and our family, and me and my sis wanted brownies to go with our Gelato and Nina Bailey Johnathon and David went above and beyond to get this done, they searched for about seemed 10minutes just so we could have something to fit our whole dessert in, my Dad and brother go here often and I've been many times with them! They are very polite, patient and especially on my Dad's birthday these 4 were extremely awesome! I would have given them awards if I could but they honestly made my heart melt just by doing what made us happy, they found us a bowl that fit our dessert and they warmed up the brownie and they were full or joy! They smiled and even joked back with me! It was awesome! Really awesome! I don't ever get disappointed coming here! I had them write their names down so I could give them a review! Thank you guys so much! You were just awesome! You didn't have to do all you did but...
