Look. This place used to be great. Clearly, it was under different management. Ive been coming here for several years, but over the course of the past year, the quality has taken a nosedive. The store is constantly out of sauces, paper towels etc.; the customer service is terrible, and nobody seems to pay attention to their job.
As i write this, i am currently waiting on a sandwich i ordered over 25 minutes ago. Granted, they brought me one after about the 15 minute mark. It was horribly put together and undercooked, as i’ve come to expect from this store, but it also had mayo on it, which i made explicitly clear could not be on this sandwich. Anyway, a couple minutes ago, they bring me another sandwich. This time, there were heaps of mayo on it, less cooked than the last. We’ll see how the next one comes out, but my hopes aren’t too high.
I wouldn’t mind waiting this long if the store were crowded, but there was only one other family (of 2) in the store who had already been helped by the time i ordered. The staff was god awful. Out of the four workers, none of them seemed to care about their job. They were all laughing and cutting up, shouting expletives at each other, and having a grand time. It is my actual belief that a couple of them were legitimately high.
Just to put the cherry on the cake, when my father asked if there was any captain sorensen’s sauce (the house hot sauce), one of the workers responded, “yeah, go find some,” in the sassiest tone imaginable. Believe me. We checked the sauce bar. There was no sorensen’s sauce. At least one of the other workers told her to “quit playin” through her own laughter, but needless to say, she didnt help us either.
I used to be able to enjoy a good hearty meal here, but now i cant even trudge through a mediocre (if im lucky) sandwich without listening to the staff yelling at each other at an above audible volume. Read moreFirst time trying Firehouse Subs. The sandwich I got on my first order was pretty good; I love their bread. However, the order was missing so much. No side pickle, no sauteed mushrooms, no caramelized onions, no caramelized peppers, no bbq sauce, and no hot sauce. This was an online order. The receipt on the bag didn't show all of these ingredients, idk if it assumes some items come stock and just lists the extras, but it did show bbq sauce as the last item; which was also not on my sub.... So their systems don't communicate online orders well and/or staff goofed.
On my 2nd order, this time through UberEats vs their own site, there was no option to add sauces. I tried calling 3 separate times to ask them to add bbq, but they don't answer their phone.
FHS can improve on customer service, ensure what's ordered online is displayed to the restaurant fully, show these same details on the customer receipt, and answer the phone; even if it's to greet and put me on hold for a few minutes.

Read moreThe only positive to this review is the blonde cashier. She was super sweet and friendly. The food itself was horrible! When we received our food my sandwich was rubbery and full of long pieces of fat meat and it clearly wasn't cooked all the way through. Also we didn't receive pickles and when I went to ask if they still serve pickles with meals you would have thought I was speaking a foreign language because the guy that appears to be a manager asked me several questions just for me to get a pickle. He wasn't very friendly and not once said a simple sorry about that but instead looked at me like I just cost him a thousand dollar loss for a pickle. We were able to get a replacement sub since we dined in but had we picked up and not checked it I would have been out of money and out of luck. This is not the first negative experience but I chose to not post the first time and give them the benefit of the doubt. I definitely will NOT be visiting this particular location again.
