We decide. To check out this Indian restaurant that we' seen in Peachtree City .Call Star of India.. I haven't had Indian food since I left Virginia and move to Atlanta, Georgia .. So we decide to check it out.Sunday, which was March.16, As soon as we walked in only 1 person greeted us. Which was the young lady at the The cash register. She was very helpful and polite. Now, for the rest of the employees or owners that were standing around close by when we walk in did not part their lips, not even to say hello or nothing.. Especially the tall guy with the beard that was right in our face as soon as we entered the door and he did not part his lips. He walked around like he was very arrogant. We had to wait till we get to the cash register to be greeted. They had a buffet style dinner. but they watching the people so close as they come up to get their food. They were Looking at them so hard like they was seeing how much food they're gonna get, which is very weird. And got to. Be awkward for the people. That's eating at the buffet. So we ordered Curry🐐 Butter Chicken and vegetables. and one more dish, I can't remember What it was my friend ordered it. We did carry out. Make a long story short. The vegetables was delicious. The Curry goat was okay and the buttered chicken sucked. It had a smoky taste. And I love buttered chicken and I have had it plenty of times and I have never Taste any Butter Chicken like that.. But even if your food was top-notch, I still wouldn't bother about coming back just because the atmosphere of the place.. Always remember The people that's coming through your door are the ones that keeping you in business open And that is your guest Notice, I said guest, and not customer. Because the people that's coming to your restaurant to eat should feel welcome and...
Read moreOf the more than 200 Indian restaurants I’ve been to in America. This is by far the worst. The food has absolutely no flavor and no spice. There is tons of cream and sugar in most dishes and it doesn’t even taste like Indian food. The chicken tikka masala is so loaded with cream and sugar that you can’t even tell that it taste like Indian food. The other dishes are also the same. The naan is basically grilled pita, and it is not made there. All in all this is a very poor excuse for an Indian restaurant in my view and I would never go there again. Went there for a lunch buffet that was more than $20 per person and actually left after eating about 20 bites. Gave them the $40 and left. I suggest that if you want to spend your hard earned money somewhere that you consider looking somewhere else where you can actually get something that’s worth eating that taste decent And is worth your time. I will never be going back and I hope that people seriously consider this review before they also spend their money on this place. The staff was not particularly helpful. I nicely asked them if they had some way to add some spice and they gave me a shaker of cayenne pepper. I then asked do they have any oil or anything that I can add spice and they said I can get something on the salad bar, which isn’t the salad bar by the way, Called chili paste. When I looked at it it was Sriracha. Haven’t seen Sriracha in very many Indian restaurants. All right, all in all carefully look at this one before you...
Read moreThis is a really nice, clean, bright comfortable restaurant that is family owned in Peachtree City serving fabulous tasting Indian food! They have a very nice selection of dishes from curries to tandoori (clay oven) to biryani (rice) dishes and more. Their bread selection is terrific - I love the Keema Naan which is a thin bread served warm and stuffed with spices and ground lamb - delicious! My favorite dish is the Fish Tikka Masala (or with chicken). Tikka Masala is a creamy sauce with a nice subtle blend of spices and herbs, tomatoes and maybe a touch of coconut milk (?) this goes great with anything! The fish (or chicken) is served in the bowl of tikka masala as boneless chunks and eaten with a side of rice. VERRRRY TASTY!!! And don't forget to try a dessert -- all homemade -- a choice of puddings, ice creams, or small donuts served with a sweet syrup. My favorite is the Mango Kulfi which is homemade ice-cream made with mangos and a hint of pistachio -- Delicious!!! -- A lovely restaurant serving truly authentic and very tasty Indian Food!...
