We went on Saturday evening. It was not packed at all. But the service was not good nor the food. We wanted to sit at a certain table & have the curtain open but the waiter who was sitting us said the couple across the room didn’t want the sunlight on them. Wow. Anyways we just moved to another bench. Then I told him we were ready to order & he said we would have to wait because he was just helping the waitress out & he didn’t want to step on her toes. I mean in my mind I’m like does it matter??? The order gotta get taken regardless. So we had to wait to place our order. Chips & salsa were not the freshest. But we were hungry & had to wait even longer to place our order. My cup was not clean. I had specks of food or dirt in my water. So when it came time to place our order, we wanted to get the dozen order of tamales but the waitress said they don’t do that anymore & I asked why is it still on the menu then? & she said they just haven’t taken it off yet but I saw other stuff on the menu that was crossed off. So that didn’t make any sense. We get the food & my tamale was cool/warm. I told the waiter & he said “well it should be hot because it’s been under a steamer” I sent it back & they brought out a warmer one. That one was a lot better. I asked the waitress for some more salsa & she never brought anymore. I had to stop another waitress & ask for some more salsa. She brought out some more with more chips & they seemed to be fresher than the first batch. & they also charge a service charge just to use your debit card. Despite the reviews, I wanted to give them a chance. My kids were content. But they need to do a...
Read moreAbsolutely Fantastic. I've been trying different things. Today I went to Jose's and ordered a vegetarian chimichanga...it was with out a doubt one of the most amazing dishes I've ever had Mexican or other. The combination of flavor was spot on, the color from the different vegetables just poured out of this thing begging to be devoured and I was more than happy to oblige. You owe it to yourself to try this dish. I now have a new favorite. It is hands down without a doubt incredible. Chips were very good also and salsa was fresh and not soupy like some places. Be careful you don't fill up on chip and salsa cause it's not hard to do when both are incredibly good. Clean enviorment, fast friendly service & priced right. Jose you are a friend of mine. Mi amigo ...you bring a smile to my face with food like this. Promise you will never leave. Coming back this weekend for more. UPDATE 8-10-19 Went back last week and the vegetarian chimichangas are still damn good. AWESOME !!! Muy bueno...much muy bueno.

Read moreFirst off the servers and front end staff are friendly. Always a smile and very helpful. So friendly it makes you feel bad to complain. It's also a very local place. I enjoy seeing staff who know their customers by name, very welcoming. As much as the staff is great, I come to a restaurant for food. This isn't Mexican. It's American pretending to be Mexican. There is a definite lack of flavor in the food. I got mini chimichangas and joked they put velveeta on it. I go to try it.... It actually is velveeta. One chimi was filled with beef. I believe the beef was last week's potroast. It was over cooked which is why no one ate it and they saved it for leftover night. The chicken one was... Mostly cheese. Thankfully they used white cheese dip and not more velveeta. Salsa and chips are also lacking. Salsa didn't have enough cilantro. It was like taking store bought and putting it into a blender. Chips were also store bought, put in the oven and then sprinkled with taco seasoning. I don't need to sum up how disappointed I am. This was not Mexican food. If I could take the service/staff here and put it in Los parrilleros, then we'd have a winning Mexican restaurant!...
