This went from a disaster to being ok.
I paid for the epic fun combo which includes LASER TAG, but it was out of service. They refused a refund for that part and only offered a 30 minute extension on the jump session or a 30 minute session on another day. What kids are going to want to jump for 2.5 hours? Part of the original 2 hours was going to include laser tag and cut down on overall jump time. If your stuff doesn't work, put a banner on the page or adjust your package. The lockers are all out of order so forget storing valuables. And why is it so dark and hot in here? My son was disappointed and I'm disappointed. I want my refund for the thing I paid for and didn't get. Don't take older kids. It's just a bunch of tots running around. Better yet, just don't go at all. I'd thought about taking the kids to the one in Ridgeland or Flowood and changed my mind because of the laser tag. Lol. I'm unhappy. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to try to save the next people from spending money on something they won't get since it looks like laser tag has been out for weeks and I'm sure they've done this to a lot of other people.
Edit: Immediately (within minutes) after writing this review, one of the employees (the manager, I think) walked to where I was sitting with an attitude about the comment I made about young children and it being dark. She was clearly upset but totally reasonable. She told me that laser tag does, in fact, work and they have three vests, which is exactly the number of kids I brought in. I highly suspect that they're too short-staffed to operate it and they only have three working vests so they don't operate it. They offered to let the kids play laser tag or refund the package and break it down to give me a refund for the laser tag. She said we must have had a miscommunication on the refund when I asked for it. We didn't. I was given two options and neither was a refund. Some kid tried to steal a $15 arcade card out of our cubby. I caught him as he was trying to walk away with it. That's why we wanted the locker. One of the urinals was out of order, the drink machine was out of order, and the self-service arcade card refill was out of order. The lady did become more pleasant and she went out of her way to make it better. I appreciated that. I'm happy they made it right but disappointed I had to write a bad review to get it. I increased my rating to reflect the fact that the lady went out of her way to make it right and the kids were super happy when I told them they were going to get to play laser tag. I'm sure based on their experience alone this review would have been higher because they did have...
Read moreI really hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel like other parents should know what they’re walking into before spending their money here. I took my two kids (ages 4 and 7) to Launch Trampoline Park in Pearl this past weekend, hoping for a fun afternoon to let them burn some energy. I had heard mixed things, but figured we’d give it a try. Honestly, I wish we had just gone to the park or done anything else instead.
First off, check-in was a nightmare. There was a long line and only one person working the front desk, who looked overwhelmed and barely acknowledged us. It took forever just to sign waivers and get wristbands. We had already bought tickets online, so I really don’t understand why it was so disorganized.
Once we got inside, the place was packed — and I get that it’s a Saturday, but there didn’t seem to be any limit to how many people they were letting in. Kids were running everywhere, older teens were doing flips and stunts dangerously close to little ones, and there was barely any staff supervising. I only saw one staff member walking around the main trampoline area, and he was mostly looking at his phone. There were multiple times I saw kids fall or get bumped into, and no one stepped in to help or say anything.
The place also wasn’t clean. The floors were sticky, the seating area smelled like old socks, and the bathrooms were honestly gross. One stall had no toilet paper, and another didn’t even have a lock on the door. For a place that’s all about kids and families, I expected way better maintenance.
We were also super disappointed to find out that several attractions were either closed or not working — including the little kids' play zone (which my 4-year-old was really excited about), and half the arcade games were either off or eating tokens. No signs, no heads-up when we came in. Just more frustration.
To top it all off, we paid nearly $60 for less than two hours of chaos and stress. My kids didn’t even want to stay the full time because it was too crowded and overwhelming. They kept asking if we could go somewhere else. That’s when I knew this place wasn’t it.
I really wanted to like Launch. The idea is great, and it could be such a fun spot for kids if it were actually run properly. But between the lack of organization, poor customer service, dirty environment, and safety concerns, I can’t see us coming back anytime soon.
If you're a parent thinking about going — save your money and your sanity. There are better, cleaner, and safer places to let your kids play...
Read moreTERRIBLE experience. Would give it 0 starts if possible. WASTE OF MONEY! I had my twin daughters' 13th birthday party here last weekend. I outlined the following issues I had in an email which I sent and followed up on, but I still have not received a response. I tried to give them a chance to rectify the situation.
I had to follow up multiple times before I received the digital invites. (Not a big deal if everything else was all good, but I guess that was just a precursor to the rest of the experience)
According to the list of items included in the All Star Package, each jumper is supposed to receive Launch socks.. You only had children sizes available that didn't fit my 13 year daughters and their friends. I put my order in over a week ago with the sizes we needed. I paid for this but was not given a discount for not receiving the merchandise.
All of the pizzas were undercooked. My daughter discovered the dough on the Meat Lovers pizza was not cooked and The Party Helper went to put another order in. Then my daughter tried a piece of the Sausage pizza, again the dough was not cooked. She discovered the same issues with the Pepperoni and Cheese pizzas. This whole ordeal put her in a really bad mood for the rest of HER birthday party. The Party Helper came back with a cooked Meat Lovers pizza. We let her know the other pizzas had the same issue, and she offered to bring replacements. At that point the kids didn't even want pizza anymore so we denied her offer. However, again this is something that I had to pay for but we couldn't even enjoy.
The 2 Launch Birthday shirts that I ordered for my daughters were supposed to be an Adult M. We didn't open them until we got home, only to realize that they are both Youth XL. Not what I ordered. Won't fit them. That's merchandise that I paid for and can't even get any use out of.
According to the list of items included in the All Star Package, each jumper is supposed to receive a Launch mood cup party favor. There were no mood cups given to use Just a bag with some candy and the $5 play card. More merchandise that I paid for but did not receive.
I'm not sure how well you are sanitizing the place, but my husband started sneezing about 30 minutes after getting there and has not been feeling good since. A couple of the guest that attended ended up...
