Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Pearl

Would like to give this place negative 10⭐️‘S. I placed an order on the app @8:52pm on Sunday night. Waited till 10:05 because the screen stated my order was being prepared but after 10mins of waiting for 4drinks no food I began to get impatient. Then with no response from the intercom I proceeded to go to the kitchen. I was greeted by a very rude skinny young African-American male stating that they were closed and that he couldn’t help me that I needed to cancel the transaction through the app. This is impossible if you are 1@the location and 2 If it’s been longer then 5 minutes since order was placed to which I found out very quick since my daughter whom was with me had worked for this very Sonic. I went straight back to him and was then told that he was calling the PEARL Police on me to which I decided to do the same. When 8 cars responded I felt like a victim since I had already paid for this order 20mins prior to their arrival. The sonic employee had several other individuals inside the kitchen besides the female car-hop because when the cops did arrive 3-5 others shot out the back door and left quickly. Idk if trying to make a distraction or what but the way he proceeded to handle himself in addition to the proof of my side of issue only proved my truth. The last thing the officer said after I showed the processed tx. on my credit card’s app was if this was correct and he tried to say that he didn’t know so politely the officer directed him to then immediately make my order or issue a refund. I got my order to which the 2teas that were ordered were made as cokes. So as you see if you want to be ripped off or possibly arrested for placing an order go here but...

I ordered in the drive-through a bacon breakfast wrap, Mozzarella sticks, 2 corn dogs and a burger. I paid cash at the window and received my food (I thought). When I Get home I notice my burger is not in the bag.. So I call the store (within a few minutes because I live close to the store) The girl said she was sorry and she thought the burger was in the bag. So before i drove back to the store I checked my vehicle because it could have fallen out and I just did not see it. Well I didn’t see it so I returned to the store, and showed my receipt to the little boy at the window and he slides the window mostly shut and says “he’s here” Well the I assume “manager” comes to the window and asks what is going on. The “he’s here” tells me I should not have to explain it!! So at this point I’m starting to get frustrated but again I explain what’s going on..He then states he remembers my order because he made it.. and the burger was in the bag.. I then state the burger wasn’t in the bag but whatever I’ll purchase another one.. I’m not about to argue over a $6 burger.. At this point the young boy who has been standing at the window since the “he’s here” comment was made. Decided he was gonna add his opinion as the window was closing. Saying yeah you can buy the burger again.. Now I’m pissed so I said some choice words to the little boy and just drove off. If you wanna pay for food you don’t get, or some cold food then I recommend this place. Other than that the manager I dealt with was terrible and so was the food I did actually receive. However after leaving Sonic I stopped at Arby’s and my food was hot and fresh and was actually in the bag...

It's a shame there aren't more places open late in the area bc I really hate ordering $40 worth of food for my family, telling the guy over the intercom what we want 3 times, and then when it comes out it's still wrong. Tater tots are lukewarm at best, the large drinks we practically begged for come out medium sized, and not only are the mozzarella sticks not hot, but for a LARGE they gave zero marinara. Who can even eat those things without marinara??? To top it off, the 3 combos we ordered weren't even bagged as combos. They just crammed what they could fit together in bags. My daughter's chicken poppers were upside down in the bag along with an order of cheddar peppers, the mozzarella sticks and an order of tots. We had to sort the bag out before we could eat bc whoever packed the order just tossed everything in on its side and apparently shook it all the way to the truck. It was like the greasy room temperature Sonic version of chex mix. Next time it's late and I'm too tired to cook, I'll use $40 to go buy stuff to make sandwiches. At least that way everybody will be satisfied with...
