This hotel is great! The room is nice, it was well kept, the service was decent, and their lobby area is great. There are a few things I wanted to point out though. The particular room I got.. the shower.... I pay attention to design of things and the shower fails entirely. It has one glass door that slides one direction like a regular sliding door, that part is fine, it's the reaching underneath the nozzle to turn on the shower that bothers me. I'm not one of those who likes to be soaking wet before I actually get in the shower, I like to turn my water on and let it warm up first which is impossible to avoid with the position of the nozzle. The design of the floor has a slant in it towards the drain but it's not quite enough to keep water from building up where you enter inside of the shower which is a super easy slip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen especially if you have soapy feet. (Hint hint) If I had to be honest I prefer tubs/shower combos anyways. Room would be bad for someone who had a small child that's not able to shower. Or a handicapped person.
Also one of my lamps didn't work, the bulb needed replacement. The main room lights flickered before fully coming on, almost like a fuse connection problem. And the light switches are located on odd sides in relation to the actual room it controls the switch for.
Bed is super comfy like floating on cloud 9. The air conditioning unit is rather loud, but if you're someone like me, that's a great alternative to all of the freaking traffic right beside the hotel. It's also within walking distance of a near gas station that has pretty much all little things you'd need for a short stay. About a mile or less up the road is a dollar general/family dollar that can also help. The fitness room is great as well. Has the bare minimum which is just enough for those who want to workout. Pool/whirlpool was covered when I passed by so no review on it.

I’ve requested a refund since the initiation of my complaint with the corporate office. The general manager has only insulted me and my family by offering 2,000 reward points for an uninhabitable room that had soaking wet carpet and a leaking air conditioning unit.
Prior post - Last month, I booked a one-night stay at your hotel, and the experience was completely unacceptable. The room’s carpet was soaked due to a leaking A/C unit. I immediately reported the issue, and while maintenance was sent, the unit continued to leak throughout the night, leaving the carpet fully saturated by morning. Despite being told that other rooms were available, your staff did not relocate us. That is outrageous and absolutely beneath Marriott’s standards.
I have been pursuing a full refund with the corporate office for weeks, yet the matter remains unresolved. When the hotel GM finally reached out, instead of addressing the situation properly, he insulted me and my family further by offering a mere 2,000 reward points. What kind of response is that? I paid cash for this stay and expect my money returned—not a token gesture that does nothing to remedy the filthy and unsanitary conditions we were subjected to. Anything less than a full refund is unacceptable, and I will not drop this matter until it...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, as my Google history will show, but had to for this location to warm future guests.
We checked in around 10pm with a woman named Octavies who, when we walked in, was in a chair under a blanket talking on her phone and was incredibly short and rude with us acting like we were interrupting her entire night. Every question we asked about the available rooms she grew more and more short and agitated until I finally just told her to give us the smallest room they have. She snatched my card and ID out of my hand and slid the keys across the counter and then sat back down and put her headphones back in. Once we got to the room the door looked like it had been kicked in. There was a gap in the door frame between the door and the frame large enough for me to push on the door and see inside before we even entered the room. Upon entering the room we discovered the door frame and jamb was actually broken and barely connected. Once we got into the room it had a strange sewage-like odor and we ended up finding bodily fluids on the toilet and floor of the bathroom. To top it off, the bed had a really strange smell and the a/c unit was a disaster that kept making a loud clicking noise the entire night despite it not being on. As we had been driving for 11 hours already and were only staying a few hours we dealt with it rather than having to deal with the woman at the desk again. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, especially considering the amount of other hotels and motels in the...
