Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Pearl

We’ve been served unfresh food many times at various restaurants including Popeyes and had to return it for refund or fresh food, so this morning we immediately asked for our sandwiches to be freshly cooked while we wait. Didn’t happen. I walked out while waiting on our food. Another person with us who was also waiting on food said the young female workers were rude and mad after I walked out acting like the food was fresh enough because they had only been open an hour or two and it didn’t make sense for anyone to request that. Needless to say, the chicken on the sandwiches was disgusting and wasn’t fresh at all. They were overcooked, the crust was charred, and they were dry. We wondered if they’d been leftovers from a day or two before and just refried. We’re still having digestive cramps and slight diarrhea. Employees need to be educated on Histamine because it doubles in leftover food every 20 minutes. I wouldn’t have requested that if it wasn’t medically necessary and someone should’ve told us straight up if it wasn’t possible instead of serving that garbage. Those workers would’ve been fighting mad if they’d been served that food, but they think it’s ok to give it to other folks. The chicken is awful when it’s not fresh but the spicy sandwiches are great when they’re fresh. It’s just impossible to get them fresh and is too much of a risk for anyone who already has health issues to eat...

They won't always leave half my order out or get it wrong. And if you order late at night they will send you scraps instead of cooking it even though most of what I order is simple stuff. They always leave out half my orders and replace somethings with something I dont want and always give me the wrong sauce. I payed for 4 strawberry cheese cakes They sent me 2 old stale apple pies that were hard and stale instead. I ordered 6 chicken tender classic chicken strips they sent me a 3 piece chicken with a biscuit instead and it was not fresh with a stale biscuit. I also paid for 3 honey mustard sauces they sent me 2 Mardi gras mustard amd one popeyes signature sauce. I couldn't eat that because I cant eat anything spicy and the Mardi gras sauce is nasty. So wasted .75 cents. The whole order was a disaster if they dont want to do their job because its late and what I mean by late is I ordered ly meal at 9pm so it wasn't to late for them to actually cook my 4 strawberry cream cheese pies and the chicken strips like I ordered. So disappointed especially when you pay good money to have it delivered. Also my drink was watered down by the time it got here and its only 15 minutes from me they must have let my drink sit while they were making my meal. Should have been the last thing they made. This location is trash and is the worst one in the area as far as service and food quality. I ordered a ten piece family meal spicy and a six piece wing combo. The girl that took our order was rude and talked over me and had to be told the same thing over and over to make sure the order was correct. I realized when we got to the window that she didn't ask what flavor I wanted for my wings. I had to tell her as I was paying that I wanted sweet and spicy because she took it upon herself and decided I wanted ghost pepper. After being told to pull down and wait we received our order, only to get home and see they only gave us thighs and drumsticks and the chicken was cold. We came straight home from the restaurant and had to warm up our food in the air fryer. What did we have to wait for if the food was already done AND cold? If they would've asked if I was ok getting all dark meat, I would've told them no and had no problem waiting for what I wanted but they didn't do that. They also didn't give us the five biscuits that comes with the meal. I absolutely despise this location. I've never been there and didn't have an issue. I won't be returning. Food is too expensive now to have to deal with trash attitudes, trash service, and to not get everything...
