Waffle House — Restaurant in Pearl

Very disappointed in the service! Came in at a slow time to place my order, one person was ahead of me she placed her order as I waited patiently. A man came in behind me, sat at the bar, instead of taking my order next they went to take the man order at the bar. Which was fine, I understand maybe she didn’t do to go orders, so I stood there about 10 minutes and the lady finally said anyone going to take his order. Finally my order was placed. I sat in the designated waiting area as I kindly waited on my order. 20 minutes go by. I watch people come in, place orders, receive food and leave. So at this point I’m starting to lose my patience, So ten more minutes later I finally asked to cook, hey if you haven’t cooked it don’t worry I have to go I run a business up the street and we have to open. Turns out they gave my food away, while I was sitting waiting. I’m not upset at the mistake, things happen. I’m more upset that I sat there for 40 minutes, I didn’t get an apology, when I walked through the door no one acknowledged I was standing there even after placing the young lady’s order right in front me for 10 minutes. All it takes is a simple, hello sir, someone will be with you in one moment, vs walking by me, seeing me standing there and no saying anything, that was very disrespectful to me, until the waitress decides ok he been standing there a while is any one going to take his order. I always tip on all my to go orders more than 20 percent. I don’t ask for special service just good service. I have been to this Waffle House before in the daytime a year or two ago. My friend and I went in on July 28th after a concert at 12:05 at night. We waited at our table for an hour and ten minutes just for our drinks. They kept bringing the wrong orders out which we patiently kept waiting for ours . They sent out one of my items and we were waiting on my friends and the rest of my order. Ten minutes later we suddenly saw those big giant red roaches crawling behind me on the walls and floors next to our table! 🤢. We got up very quickly and the workers didn’t apologize or anything. They didn’t explain or say anything. A man walked over there and killed one with his bare hands on the wall and sat back down to eat. We literally paid for our drinks and hauled butt out of there! I get that roaches will sometimes get in a house and die but these were not dying and they were in a restaurant and no one cared! I will NEVER even turn around in their driveway again! This place definitely went down hill quick! ( I must mention that this place was clean and nice over a year ago but when we went in this last time there was grease and dropped food everywhere. Especially under the areas where they cook. VERY bad staff. Ones names is Madison with the bright red hair and a little on the heavier side. We went in around 7:30pm on 12/5/2022. Three adults and two kids. We ordered an angus bacon cheese burger, a regular cheese burger, a kids cheese burger, and a Texas bacon chicken melt. Didn’t receive our drinks until we asked them for them about 20 minutes after sitting down. Received no silver ware until after food came out so waffle was cold. No straws. Had to remind them of EVERYTHING! Even what we ordered. It took 40 minutes for our country ham to come out when that’s usually the first thing out. They forgot about it so we had to remind them. We were the only customers in there. When we came in the girl was laid up at one of the tables with her stuff everywhere and it remained there the whole time. We went to pay and the guy that had our ticket walked out about 45 minutes ago so I had to tell them what I ordered and I still got over charged. It was a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds running it. They couldn’t stay off of their phones and were all over each other. I’ve always gone to this Waffle House since I was in diapers but never again unless the staff are different.
