08.06.2019 First and foremost I would like to say Iām very displeased with the phone call I just received. I once worked for NBC in Pearland, I decided to stop working there due to low pay, and a few other things. Also, the owner Gail didnāt know how to talk to people, and each time she came in her location she would always ask āwhere is this item or that itemā? As if someone was stealing, as if it couldnāt be sold. That became very overwhelming and uncalled for. So, me knowing my worth I QUIT, and started my career path. Afterwards I still bought cakes from there, and it was no hard feelings toward the store. I ordered my baby shower cake there, in which was wrong and incomplete. I called the store back in which I spoke to Gail on my recorded line, and advised her that my order was wrong, and incomplete. Her response was āthe workers may still be a bit upset with you, because you quit during busy holiday and left them hangingā. Wow something to tell a person!! Because at this point Iām a guest no longer an employee. I even ordered a few times after that, and my order was incorrect. I finally reached the point not to return to the store because it seemed as if it was done intentionally or on purpose at this time. So, my cake that was done incorrectly I contacted my bank and advised them of the situation and what Gail told me, my bank issued a provisional credit after hearing what GAIL told me they made it a permanent credit. Gail called me on this morning telling me about it, and I told her exactly what was done, and why. Gail pretty much stereotyped all her African American employees, in which you serve all customers. Sheās not a people person at all. Mrs. Kathy in which sheās the other owner sheās very sweet, and the total opposite of Gail. Gail your customer services skills are horrible, and you definitely need to revisit customer service training. Gail donāt ever call my phone harassing me, if youāre in the wrong! Ā Ā Ā Read moreFour stars is for the cake however, the poor customer service from the African American lady (with the glasses and cap) has really turned me away from this location and will not allow me to give it a 5 star rating. Not sure that I will return to this one. We (myself and two other individuals) have all had similar poor customer service experiences with this lady, each on different occasions. The flippant attitude, matter of fact mannerisms and comments should be reserved for her friends and not the customers.

Instead of me sending an email with specifics, please simply monitor the individual for yourself at random times when she is dealing with customers. I noticed it just by being behind a customer that she was waiting on and then also by receiving the same flippant attitude and lack of patience that the customer in front of me received. I mentioned this to a colleague as well as to a friend who normally comes to this location and the responses were the same - "who? the black lady with the glasses and attitude". ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location saved the day! I ordered a custom cake from another bakery and upon arrival I discovered the cake was a disaster. I could not believe what they were trying to sell me. It looked nothing like the picture and to add insult to injury the customer service was even worse. I left the location with tears in my eyes and only a few hours to spare before my husband's surprise birthday party. I frantically searched for a replacement cake a friend suggested that we call Nothing Bundt Cakes to ask if they could accommodate me. My cousin called to inquire and an employee assured her they could help.
We arrived at the location within minutes and once inside the store was greeted by several smiling faces. We explained our situation in detail and without hesitation we were given a few options. The double tier cake wasn't the custom cake that I had ordered (we had a Harley Davidson theme) but it was very moist and delicious and our guests never knew the difference.
