Burns Bistro — Restaurant in Pearland

Waited for almost 15 minutes for them to put the order together. I was the only person in line. One two meat plate. The sausage was ok, however the brisket was so dry it crumbled when I tried to cut it. The staff definitely needs to be trained in customer service skills. Stood by a sign that said line starts here. Everyone kept looking at me but no one acknowledged me. Finally I asked the girl if she was ready and she told me I needed to go to the other side by the register to order. The guy and girl behind the counter giving goo goo eyes to each other and cutting up rather than getting the order together. Oh! I almost forgot. I went to the register to order and again everyone kept looking at me but no one said anything. Finally a 100 year old woman carrying a toilette brush she was using to clean the back tile wall came to the register. I asked how she was and she didn’t say anything. All of the sudden she yelled at the kids and said someone had taken her pen and she wanted it back now!! I should have known then to just leave, but dumb me wasted my money instead. Never will I ever purchase anything...

Customer service is horrible the two young girls were very rude to all of the customers they were refusing to serve food. They were rolling their eyes at every customer that walked up to order. No one had on gloves they were just very unprofessional. The food was not what I expected when I first started visiting Burns barbecue, they were very professional. we received dry meat the barbecue ribs, and the chicken was very dry as it had been sitting all day .. One customer ordered dirty rice online with his order when he came they said there was no more dirty rice. The guy asked, can I substitute it for something else the young girl got a very bad attitude and said well look you can cancel your order because we don’t have nothing, she was just very rude and obnoxious . They were putting food up before...

I ordered two 1-meat potatoes - one with brisket and the other with sausage, but when I got home I saw I was given two sandwiches instead.

The sausage and brisket was seasoned well, but not cooked long enough to render the fat on the brisket.

You order from a line and can order online also, but the pickup spot is the same whether you ordered in person or online so you end up waiting for your order anyway. There is only one register, so if there’s a line be prepared to wait.

The location in Houston is better food and service, but this will do in a pinch if you don’t want to drive to...
