Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookie — Restaurant in Pearland

I mostly go there because of my kids and they love it.. They love that guy that is so friendly and pleasant! I think that's one of the reasons why the like going because he makes them laugh, the rest employees looked like they are suffering. Anyways, the only time I tried the ice cream was rum flavor and I did not like it at all... Flavor was bitter and raisins were really hard I guess because they were cold. Anyways, lately we started going back because of the kids again and no one was wearing a mask or gloves ... A lady was fixing a cookie cake with her face all over the cookie with no masks or gloves... I guess is not mandatory in Pearland but cautious and hygiene talks a lot specially now..I tried to reach out to them via email but there's no email in website so I just want to let someone know of that issue that I have seen and is very likely others have as well. We would love to go back for the kids but we won't until their...

UPDATE: March 2020.

I must subtract another star. Stale waffle bowls have become routine.😔 ...and I'm starting to question the freshness of the toppings, especially the pecans; sometimes they taste a little funny.

The ice cream visit costs too much for a stale product. Hope this is corrected soon.

April 2019 A good place to go for a sweet treat. There are plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. I always get the Swiss Chocolate mixed with Heath and pecans in a waffle bowl. This visit was a good one. There have been a couple of occasions that the ice cream tasted and looked a little funny or the waffle bowl or toppings tasted stale. But this was a GREAT visit!

Ok so I won't be going here again... The first time we came here we got what we ordered then were fine walking out the door when the tall guy with the black hair stops us and wants to share the word of God with us, which was weird but we kindly declined and went about our business. Then tonight we decided to give it another try and everything was going fine until these four sweaty children came running in, and obviously knew this guy because next thing I know all four sweaty children are being invited behind the counter to make their own ice cream. Then I watched as these children, one of which had her hands in her mouth, wash their hands but then wipe them on their shirts and proceeded to make their own ice cream.
