So, it's a lazy Sunday morning and my wife and I decide that neither of us have any desire to go anywhere but we are hungry. Door dash to the rescue. Order a bunch of food from IHOP. An hour later the Door dash driver arrives and hands me the food and promptly leaves. Get in the house and realize more than half of the food is not here. Being the calm individual I am I call IHOP in Pearland to figure out what happened. After my explanation of what I'm calling about I am placed on hold. Keep in mind the Army long ago prepared me to wait for hours on end for no reason whatsoever. 15 min go by I decide to put on my shoes and drive to the IHOP completely negating the entire reason for the delivery. I walk into the IHOP carrying the little obit of food we got and still carrying my phone to my ear and still on hold. I nicely ask for the manager. She arrives a few moments later and ask what she can help me with. I show her the phone and the ongoing call with the number displayed. She looks at their phone to see the red light still blinking. I explained to her what has happened. She immediately remembered the order i place as she was the one who bagged it up to be sent out. She very kindly informed me that she would remake the entire order and refund the entire price of the order ($67 bucks and change). She had that order done in 5 min or less I swear. She repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience caused by the mess up and said she would find out who left me on hold for that long and fix the issue. Now, in my younger more angry days i would have gone in that restaraunt raining hell but it paid off far better to be calm and courteous. Yes it was a bit of a pain and I still had to go up there but that manager was very awesome for sure. I wasnt looking for a refund just the food I paid for. Nothing extra or special but she refunded it anyway. So thank you to IHOP (2829 Broadway St, Pearland, TX) I very much appreciate it. The manager working this morning was...

Tables were still dirty when my gf and I walked in late at night. Though it seems like they were busy, so we gave them a pass on that. As servers, we both know how it is. Waited a bit for the table to be cleaned. Saw at least 3 servers wiped it down because there were still trash and pieces of food on the table. Fine, as long as it's clean. But here is where it all starts going down hill. We sat down, got our drinks and waited for about... 15 min until our server got our order. Waited another 15 min for our food to come out. About time! Next problem we had was that there was a party of teens a table across from us. We did not mind it one bit until one of the server sat at our table, turned around to talk to the party. How rude is that! Another thing that happened was that a server dropped a plate of food in the middle of the dining area and DID NOT clean it up at once, instead it was sitting there for a LONG time. It was several feet away from where we were dining at, lost my appetite after that. After we stacked the plates on top of each other, we sat there. Making it obvious that we were ready for the check. This was the final and last draw of my nerve. We had to wait for a long while until my Gf finally had no more patience and went up to the server to ask for the check. At last, after an hour and a half of being there, we were out of there. If you want to eat breakfast at midnight, I suggest finding...
Read moreOnly giving it 2 stars due to the fact I love their food. The service here is HORRIBLE, all the employees are dull and walk around like zombies and ignore you leaving you to wait awhile for things. Their efforts when they even try to be kind is forced and awkward. Usually whenever we wait to be seated it takes a minute or two, with the staff just staring at one another to figure out who wants to seat us. The management, if there is any, is also lackluster, they mostly sit around off to where they think no one can see them. One lady, interrupted us one time while a waiter was taking our order just to get on to him about something that happened a few moments ago, she couldn't have talked to him privately about it? Found that very rude.
Today started with the usual wait time to be seated, hardly anyone was in the restaurant, we finally got seated by a bored employee, drinks ordered, later food ordered, waited roughly 15-20mins, food was superb as always. There was a table behind us that hadn't been cleaned or wiped off from the time we got there to the time we left, which was 45mins after we got our food and ate. I know going back and dealing with that is on me and whoever else joins, but.. Please make this place appealing and relaxing. I feel awkward because they feel awkward talking to us.
Go for the food, but don't expect much when it comes to...
