Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Pearland

I used to come to this location daily, but then the quality dropped. Today was my first visit again in awhile to order food and the quality of the food was back to what I remember and loved. Still, I have to say it's hit and miss, depending on the crew. On the last visit, they couldn't even properly take a drink order, a soda, not a shake which could be more understandable. One consistent complaint that I have is how the carhops almost always ask if I need my change. I find this offensive, regardless of the amount. They also have other tactics, making customers wait in the heat while they claim to go get change that they visibly have with them or sometimes saying they don't have it at all. I personally don't allow them to keep the change when they ask or leave me waiting, only when they simply give it to me without expectations are they given a tip. I urge others to do the same. Maybe if enough do, they will stop this offensive nonsense and earn their tip instead of begging for it. I will make my rating higher if they do. Five stars for the food, minus two for...

I arrived at 6:15 pm to the sonic at 2815 E Broadway St in Pearland, I ordered a number 4 sandwich only and a foot long hot dog, when i received my order they gave me a number 1 instead of what I asked for, we asked for it to be remade, 20 mins later it still wasn’t even done, we had to call back and tell them a second time and they hadn’t even started making it, so we decided to just ask for the money back and they said okay and we still were there for another 20 mins later, and we had to call back to remind them for the money back and we eventually got it back we didn’t leave until 7:15 pm, they wasted our time no telling how many other peoples time they have wasted and they also had workers going in groups to the dumpster and they would return giggling that’s what prompted us to finally call back after 20 mins of them not even...

The first problem with my order was the amount on gravy they had the nerve to serve me. I had the chicken strip dinner with an extra gravy and an extra piece of toast. There was only about a 1/4 inch worth of gravy in each cup. And when i informed my bellhop, she told me none of the sorry individuals in the kitchen took responsibility for it. Not only that but there were all but one of the four strips i had were ripped up. On top of that the toast i had either had no butter/oil on it, or it had very very little and my tater tots weren't fresh. It was the worst experience I've had at a sonic, and thank you all for making it so memorable. The only plus side is i don't live near this location, so I'll never need to come back and would never recommend...
