Iāve been coming to this salon for about two years now, and have never had any issues until yesterday. I arrived at 10am (they open at 9:30) and found the salon to be busier than expected for a Monday morning. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait to start my pedicure, and a 30 minute wait for my manicure, which I accepted and then as then seated at one of the pedicure chairs. About 10 minutes into waiting a tech ran by and quite literally threw a warm neck pillow on my neck, without any other acknowledgement and went back to the client she was working on across the salon. I waited another 15 minutes then a tech arrived to begin my pedicure. She never introduced herself, just tossed the pedicure selection sheet on my knees and asked if I had shellac on my toes then got to work. 10 minutes in she stopped what she was doing to assist another client for a few minutes with no explanation, then came back to working on me, which I thought was odd and have never had happen. About half way through my pedicure service another tech arrived to start my manicure. I showed her the picture of that I was wanting, a simple white French with chrome on top, and without even asking she began to cut down and remove the nails I had previously to begin soaking them off. I was a bit taken aback since I already had a French tip design on my previous set in another color, and she didnāt even offer me the option to refill, instead she decided to immediately remove the tips and powder I already had on, which was still in good condition, without my approval. Once I already had my hands in the bowl soaking off the powder, did she inform me of the cost of my nails today, which was $95 for a relatively simple design. I asked her to explain why the price was so high and the breakdown she gave me was as follows: $45 full set acrylic, $5 soak off, $5 nail tips, $5 almond shape, $25 French, $15 chrome. I was slightly upset about the cost, but was already underway with the service so felt like I didnāt really have a choice if I wanted to walk out of the salon with my nails done today so I let her continue. The whole time it felt like she was slightly rushing to get my nails finished with and get to the next client since they were so busy, which I didnāt appreciate, but understand how stressful the service industry can be since work in it. My nails look good, and I did get what I was asking for, but I just wasnāt pleased with the service I received today, especially not being given the chance to choose a more cost friendly service for my manicure and that decision being made for me, and feeling as if I was an after thought to the techs working on my since everything felt rushed or I wasnāt given their full focus. I plan to come back, since this is the first time Iāve ever had an issue with this salon, and hopefully it was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever! I have been there multiple times and had good service but yesterdayās visit was not that. I had 9:30 appointment, I arrived on time was seated promptly and brought me a water. I waited 12 minutes and then flagged the receptionist to ask how long I would need to wait, she said the nail tech was getting her things together. Finally at 9:50 the tech appeared. I have always done shellac until May when I decided to try dip nails as shellac seemed to ruin my nail beds.
The technician to a nail tip and proceeded to RIP of the dip nails. This being my first time withdip nails I did not question her method. I have strong nails and the force she used was very painful and caused the nails to tear at an angle and too short so she had to apply nail tips. I told her I had good nails and did not want tips, her procedure was causing damage, she said that she would fix that. She glued the tips on with too much glue and the skin under the nails adhered to the fake tips causing further pain. I told her to stop but she kept saying she would FIX. how do you fix a nail you have completely torn? . She was sloppy and I had more dip gel and nail polish all over my fingers than my nails. She had nail pieces all over her. E and even at the adjacent nail station! I complained to the manager. The manager offered a discount the NEXT time I visited. I told them after this there would be NO next time. I paid them $89.00 they charged to inflict pain, paint my knuckles and fingers ! Way too much for their very poor service and for tips that I did not need if she had not broken my nails. The manager said that acetone is used 90% of the time to remove the dip nails but I suppose using a nail tip, damaging your nail, is more profitable as you are forced to pay for nail tips. Beware this could be a tactic being used to charge more.
The owners response is incorrect. I waited 20 minutes to be see after I was given drink. At no time did the technician explain the process of removal and DID NOT offer to use or use acetone to remove the nails. When I told tech she had glued under my nails and put too much gel and that I had a lot a lot under my nails all she said was , āI fix, I fixā. I wish I would have had a video of the brutal and painful tactic used to remove the nails. Itās been two days and my fingertips still hurt. I am attaching the receipt showing the charge and the corresponding credit card charge to show the...

DISCLAIMER: DETAILED TRUTH) On Sunday 02/12/2023 I had a scheduled appointment with my regular nail tech Danny for 10:30 am. As soon as I walk in, that little boy that works as the receptionist who always has cute nails with designs seemed as though he wasn't in the best of moods, and stared at me as though I should have been the one to greet him. I ignored that, but made a note (strike 1) and preceded to inform him that I have a 10:30 with Danny. That I need a soak off, overlay, and design. He goes into the regular find your color etcetera. He speaks in his native tongue to Danny as Danny is working on another client. He asks me if he could see the designs, starts conversing with others, and takes pictures of both the color palette and the picture of the design. Iām seated and Danny comes to prepare and start the soak off. He explains that someone else will do the designs because he isnāt comfortable. Fine, I have no problem with that. Insert Amy. No problem with Amy UNTIL she made it seem as though I just didnāt want my designs. No, I still wanted the designs. That was the POINT of why you (Amy) were doing my nails. HOWEVER, when you oiled my nails up and then totaled the services on the piece of paper (strike 2) I in return asked ādid they tell you I wanted designs?ā Instead of answering the question she says āI can do design do youā. At this point, Iām a bit annoyed and couldnāt understand how communication was lost. I replied, ādonāt worry about it because it seems like you are ready for the next person.ā I wash my hands and walks to the front to pay. When it was my turn Iād had plans to ask that little boy with the cute designed nails āwhy wasnāt I asked if I needed anything to drink?ā I passed because I wasnāt in a joking manner at this point. I decided to let him know that I wasnāt able to get the designs that he took a picture of. He said oh and continued to tally me out. I then said, āthat wasnāt by choice but Iām guessing no one told her about my designs or she just forgot. Either way itās interesting because that was the reason she was asked to do my nailsā. Thatās when the little boy with the cute designed nails decided to ask her about it. They are communicating in their native and then Amy walks herself over and condescended says; āhoney, I said I can do fo you and you said noā (strike 3). āAmy, what I said was, never mind because you were finished, I didnāt say noā. Thereās...
