Since I didn’t get a response from the DISTRICT MANAGER, I will inform the public of my horrible experience. Let me be clear, I LOVE WENDYS, but I refuse to give money to any company that doesn’t understand the relationship between customers and thier business staying open. Letter sent on 10/31/2018.
On October 31, 2018, I came to the Shadow Creek Parkway Wendy’s restaurant in Pearland, TX. This is a new location and this is my second experience with either an incorrect order or very unprofessional service. The last time I came to the restaurant, I ordered a sandwich and it did not come with all the items that belong on the sandwich, and I was also given cold french fries.
Today was considerably worse than any other day, therefore I will not be returning to this location, even though it’s right down the street from my house. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and an order of Chicken Tenders and after pulling to the window and paying the cashier then proceeds to tell me that the tenders will take eight minutes to cook. I told her I don’t have eight minutes so please give me my money back. She proceeds to try to give me my money back without the tax included and then was slightly argumentative about the price of tenders. She was very defensive in regard to me questioning her about the price of the tenders without the tax. She continued to tell me that the price was the actual price without the tax until she went to check and realized that she had given me the money without the tax. She then proceeded to tell me how much she owed me and did not act as though she was going to give me the money. I had to tell her to give me the money. There was no apology there was no humility to the mistake made. Having worked in sales and even food services there was no way I would allow this young lady to work in my establishment. If I don’t buy food then she doesn’t have a job and there may be a line of communication broken in her understanding that. Whomever the leader was on duty was also not apologetic and really left her to handle the situation by herself. You are only as strong as your leader. Read moreSituation: I used the mobile app to place my order from home. I drive 15min to Get here. Expecting to grab and go in the drive thru after spelling my name and providing my mobile order. Unfortunately I sat for 15 minutes upon arrival to be handed the wrong order. My order was two baked potatoes and 10piece nugget meal/ strwbrylemnde. After waiting for 15 minutes given the wrong meal. I came inside to rectify the issue and I was told that the order wasn’t in the system…. I asked If my order wasn’t in the system, why did you bring me a meal that was two happy meals and some chili with a third drink? The drive thru attendant (No name tag) told me twice my order wasn’t in the system while at the corner. I showed my Wendy’s app and she said it wasn’t paid for. I showed her it was and she reassured me it wasn’t in the system. She then asked for my name again. The fourth time she took a good look and said im sorry sir it’s not paid for. Read moreI used to be a regular at Wendy's but I don't appreciate when your own staff members starts to make fun of what I order. I usually order the 4 for 4 meal cause it's cheap and it tasted pretty good. But I overheard their conversation as I walked in the your establishment and started talking about me ordering the same meal every time. Not to mention one of the employee started laughing when she knew I was ordering the same thing as last time. I felt kinda embrassed when they started laughing so I won't be returning to this location anymore. It's kinda a shame because I actually liked the food much better than the one in broadway.
