This is a vegetarian review.
BurgerFi offers quinoa based veggie patty. I wanted to make things a little more interesting than what they had on the menu so I took a veggie patty and a grilled onions fresh jalapenos some Cajun powder to my burger and switched up the multigrain bread for the standard potato button. I also added there barbecue sauce to the Burger.
Why the burger was tasty it was not a unique experience by any shot. In fact I would go so far as to say that there are far better options just around the corner and a few miles south if you have the time and the convenience.
the first thing you notice when you get a burger here is how small it is. One Burger on its own will not fill you up. And I am Indian.
Cutting to the chase these burgers are tiny and they average $9 each which does not include a drink or fries. The fries cost another $3. at this price point of 12 to $14 for your meal you will get a much better and wider selection of burger concoctions from traditional Burgers to Fusion Burgers one light West at Smashburger. Their black bean Patty is excellent and much bigger and there are three distinct different ways in which you can get your burger made. So price wise, flavor-wise and in portion size you're going to get a better deal at Smashburger. I would probably consider BurgerFi as an alternative every 8 time at Smashburger.
now if you had convinced and the time to travel 10 minutes south of here, then you must be prepared with a stomach that has been growling for one of the best burgers you are going to eat in this part of town. Make your way to boss Burger in Miami Lakes. Even if you are vegetarian go ahead and order the mushroom burger and my suggestion if you like spicy food is to get it in there TNT Style. For the price of $14 you will get burgers that are huge and twice the size of what you get served at BurgerFi and also giant portion of their French fries. don't forget to ask for their housemade...
Read moreTL;DR: When they make it right, this is one of the best Veggie Burgers you'll ever have!
There is a Haitian saying that if something very unexpected happens, it must be raining outside. I wonder if it's because I was one of the last people to pick up a burger right before a thunderstorm (so it wasn't too busy at the time), but I just ate one of the best Veggie Burgers I've ever had.
I live pretty close to this BurgerFi and have been coming here for years. I have become vegetarian this past year so I've been coming here exclusively for their Veggie Burger (I haven't tried the impossible burger yet). Over the recent months, the quality of the veggie burger dropped (like seriously, I've made better ones with supermarket frozen patties) and I had to stop eating there for a while. The patty was mushy and the fried egg I'd sometimes add would always be barely cooked (so my to-go would always be soggy, slimey, etc from sitting in egg yolk for the 5-7min drive home).
Today, I remembered why I love BurgerFi so much. I don't know who was cooking but the egg was a pleasant over medium, the patty was crispy and firm without being burnt/overcooked, and the presentation was beautiful (I was scared to pull out the burger because it looked too good to be true... It was truly beautiful)! I ordered ahead and it was ready before I got there (unlike before where I waited more than a few minutes extra after coming on time, even when the restaurant was almost empty). My only regret was that I forgot to take a picture before I inhaled it.
I hope the quality stays the way it was today. This is the BurgerFi I signed up for....
Read moreTwo weeks ago I ordered my food and was told by the app the food would be ready within 15 minutes. I showed up to 25 minutes after the order was placed. When I picked up the order the girl told me some of the food wasn’t done. I waiting a few minutes and she brought out the two missing burgers to then find out they messed up on the order. Waiting another 20 minutes for them to correct the mistake...I see the cook literally take less than minute to fix the issue I just had to wait another 20 minutes for. With that said, I left and told myself I’d never order again from there.
Well....I was wrong. I ordered again tonight and came 10 minutes after my order was suppose to be ready to find out it wasn’t ready again. Now I was in queue after a few other orders. As they are putting my order together I see the cook literally reheat burgers in a black microwave on the west side of the kitchen. The food was still in the wrapper and box while being microwaved. At this point I couldn’t take it anymore. To see my food wrapped in plastic that I’m waiting for be reheated in a microwave. I ask the lady again... “how much longer is this going to be?” , im given the rude answer “sometimes people wait hours for food”. Not only is this the dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard, I was treated unprofessionally for someone that has just seen their food microwaved. I walked out without the food.
I will be sending an email to corporate and request the refund for the food I didn’t take out of pure disgust and...
