I noticed my receipt had an extra 3% charge for using my credit card. I looked every where for a sign and there was none! I asked the two young ladies working where the sign was stating they charge their customers extra for using their credit card and they said there isn’t one. Started to get a little rude. It seemed she didn’t understand the question or didn’t know how to answer. They said it was a ‘new system’. Asked me if I wanted them to call the owner and I said yes. After a few minutes she came back and said the owner wasn’t available. I asked for the phone number and was declined. Personally, I believe it’s wrong to steal from the customer without giving them the option of paying with cash to avoid the ‘surcharge’. They didn’t offer to reimburse me either. The young lady said that I was the first to ever complain. But they also told me it was a new system. Maybe that’s why. It was very little money but it wasn’t about that. It’s the principle of doing it without letting me know. And again, no sign!...

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Boba Man. I order from here almost every weekend for my daughter, as it's a way for us to connect while I’m away for work. Recently, I placed an order via Uber Eats, and within three minutes realized it was incorrect. I immediately tried to modify the order, but Uber Eats wouldn't allow any changes, stating the order was already being prepared. My only option was to cancel the order, which would have cost me $15 on a $20 order.

I called Boba Man directly within three minutes of placing the order, but received no response and was repeatedly sent to voicemail. This is terrible customer service, especially for a loyal customer who orders weekly. My daughter loves boba drinks and veggie rolls, and this experience has been very disappointing. Even more so disappointing my order is still being prepared 15 minutes later. This will be my last experience...
