Lady Baker is hands down one of my favorite local bakeries in town. Their pastries are absolute PERFECTION!!! It's all about the layers and Lady Baker knows how it's done. They are consistent.

I love the cute space and everything here is wonderful. The bakery is very modern, clean and cute. They have a neon sign here that is so true, "You can't buy happiness, but you can buy bread and that's the same thing!" Because bread ya'll. Lol. they offer many different things here including pastries, bread, sandwiches, quiche, chocolate and of course coffee.

They offer catering too where you can pre-order cakes, mini boxes of croissants or sandwiches and quiches. Keep this in mind for future parties and events.

I'm a huge fan of their croissants, pain au Chocolat, Kouign-Amann, cruffins and coffee. I will also try any new pastries because pastries are life and the owner, Paula Marsalo has perfected her pastries. You know a bakery is good when they know how to perfect a plain croissant with all the beautiful layers inside. If you open a croissant and see honeycomb layers, you've hit the jackpot. That's how you know!!!

The staff here is always incredibly welcoming and friendly. We've tried so many different items here over the years. I am not ashamed to say we are regulars here, like 20 check-ins kind of regulars. Lol.

A few different things we have tried here:

Vanilla Lavender Latte Almond Croissant Pistachio Croissant Nutella Croissant Pain Au Chocolat Croissant Prosciutto Sandwich Nutella Cruffin Dulce de Leche Cruffin

The croissants here are so light and fluffy and it really is perfect with the golden crispy exterior and super soft and flaky interior. My kids love the cruffins but I feel like the fillings are usually way too sweet or there is too much of it. This is evident with the Nutella Cruffin and Dulce de Leche Cruffin. Those are a pass for me. I can't handle that much sweetness.

The Vanilla Lavender Latte is my new favorite coffee drink here, so tasty and not overly sweet. The lavender was just a hint and not overpowering as you would think when you think of lavender in your latte. I've had lavender lattes before and I like them but I really like the vanilla addition. Adds that hint of sweetness. Bonus, I dipped my croissant in my latte. Oh em gee!!! Game changer. I always see it done on social media and of course wanted to do the same. So yummy!

I will market Lady Baker all day long because they are one of my favorites!!! But don't take my word for it, swing by and try it out for yourself. Absolute perfection. You'll...

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW PLEASE SEE BELOW: I spoke to Paula, the amazing owner of Lady Baker. WOW! I am so sorry that I left the review about her employee. She explained to me that she participates in a program that provides work for people with special needs. How admirable!!! I know first hand how difficult this can be a times and it is so admirable that she is part of this program. My respects to her and her entire staff.

She also explained why they might not have all the products available at all times. Everything is made from scratch and fresh every day and at times there is more demand for certain products and those run out earlier. She is diligently working on having a second shift that will provide the customers with the "favorites" later on in the day.

I promised I will be returning very soon and also that I will recommend Lady Baker to everyone who wants a true bakery experience!

Paula, thank you for listening and taking the time to speak to me today!

PREVIOUS REVIEW:

I was really looking forward to come here to have lunch. First the positive :) great coffee (had two cortados), amazing quiche Lorraine and loved the bread pudding muffin. Not so positive :( My friend and I got there at 1:00 PM.The sandwiches are premade and are in a display on the counter and you cannot order any if they "ran out" and you cannot order on any other bread type. Also, quiche Lorraine was the only type of quiche they had left and we took the last two portions so there was none left for the rest of the day. Also, I commented to a male server that I felt it was very warm inside and he replied " No it's not, it must be you". I am a customer service person for one of the highest value credit card companies so I am well aware of people that can be difficult or complain for anything and I can assure anyone that I totally understand but the rest of the staff was so incredibly nice that he felt a bit abrasive. After that I asked where we could take the trays as we wanted to order dessert and more coffee and the trays had been on the table for a long time :( and that same young man just came over and stood next to the table while we handed over both our trays. He seemed to be having a difficult day. Overall, the products that we were able to...

I found Lady Baker through social media and live a 30 minute drive from the bakery. Once I’d been the first time, I couldn’t stop and I have been visiting pretty consistently. My partner and I discovered the delicious coffee and the high quality baked goods and cannot recommend this place enough. They make in house syrups for their beverages and the croissants are top tier. There are so few places you can get an almond croissant as delicious as Lady Baker’s in south Florida. I started regularly coming once a week on my day off to just grab a blueberry muffin and a cappuccino. There are so many other places I could grab a muffin and coffee at between my home and Lady Baker but I drive out there because the baked goods are so incredible and clearly crafted with care. The breakfast danish was to die for warmed up. The seasonal baked options are great, too. I’ve started bringing my loved ones there just to have an excuse to go by. The location is great. The inside is a little tight seating wise but the staff are fast and friendly so even with a flow of constant customers, you’re never waiting too long. The really unique thing about the inside of the bakery is that you can see many of the baking processes happening while standing at the register. You can get anything from a kouign amann to a sourdough loaf and the attention to detail they have when presenting these foods to you is outstanding and that’s before you even get to taste anything. If you ever post it on social media, people are going to ask for the name of this place. It’s an amazing experience to pop in and grab a few goodies to...

Lady Baker, located in Pembroke Gardens, is a great option for fresh pastries, coffee, and sourdough when in South Florida🍞 We ordered the Prosciutto Sandwich served with Prosciutto, arugula, pesto, & mozzarella perfect for a quick bite during brunch. The sandwich was toasted, the pesto was not overwhelming, a good amount of prosciutto was included, and a filling serving size to get you through your busy day! Paired with the sandwich, we ordered a Caramel Cappuccino (hot) and a Vanilla Latte (iced). The cappuccino was warm and provided a cozy feel, while the vanilla latte was the perfect “on the go” coffee to continue running errands….or shop - after all, you are in Pembroke Gardens Mall 😉 Additionally, we ordered the Apple Danish 🍏 which was fresh and tasted like a homemade apple pie. The Dulce de Leche Cruffin (also served with Nutella) is a pastry I had never seen before, therefore the best way to describe it is a “croissant x puff pastry” dough filled with either Dulce de leche or Nutella. Both desserts provide the perfect bite for any sweet tooth and can be shared between 1-2 people. Overall, @ladybakerusa (IG) provided excellent customer service with their employee answering our questions and providing excellent recommendations. You can also purchase a fresh loath of bread / sourdough at the bakery; a purchase I look forward to making in the future ✨

I’m normally not one to place reviews but felt it necessary this time. I really had hopes for this place. It looks very cute and the menu has great options. Unfortunately, my experience today was not great. I placed an order on UberEats for two turkey & cheese and two spinach & cheese croissants. At first look, they look incredible but at the time I came to eat one of the turkey & cheese croissants, I ended up barely being able to stomach it. I heated the croissant for a few seconds in the microwave since they arrived cold and kind of hard, and when I started eating it, I had grease fill my mouth and start dripping down my entire hand. I took a paper towel to remove a bit of the excess grease and came out with the entire paper towel soaked. I figure the grease was soaked up and took a few more bites with the same results. Just a few bites in and I could barely stomach to take any more since I was pretty much unable to even taste anything other than the oil and that to end up throwing it out. I tried taking a bite of the others and had the same experience. Again, I hate to be writing this review since I’m not one to do so normally but I felt it was needed this time.
