Let me tell you about that took place not long ago on the evening of June 28, 2023. The venue that gifted us this memorable encounter, Ra Sushi, lived up to its reputation for serving temptingly delicious food. Yet, it was the stunning charisma of their staff that took our experience to an entirely different level.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a radiant smile from Georgette, who welcomed us at the front door. The warmth and pleasantness she expressed set the stage for what turned out to be a memorable evening. Her cheerful demeanor was like a ray of sunshine that enlightened the atmosphere, making us feel at ease and completely welcomed.
But the narrative does not end here. Just as we were basking in the glow of Georgette's affability, we met our brilliant server Nix. Nix was much more than just a server â he was the embodiment of enthusiasm, bringing a unique energy and passion to his job. He exemplified what true human touch and exceptional service represents in the hospitality industry. His attentive and polite mannerisms left an indelible impression on us, truly embodying the essence of extraordinary service.
Adding to this spaghetti of delightful interactions was Naim, the manager on duty. His caring disposition and fatherly concern for our overall welfare amplified our experience further. His vigilance, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, was touching, illuminating the exceptional level of customer care he upholds.
Now, turning to the cuisine - Ra Sushi presented an array of delectably tasty food that tantalized our taste buds. Each dish was a gastronomic delight, enhancing our dining adventure and leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit.
In essence, our visit to Ra Sushi was not just a dining experience, it was a symphony of delightful encounters. The combination of Nix's passion, Georgette's congeniality, and Naim's fatherly concern amplified the scrumptious food that Ra Sushi had to offer. I eagerly look forward to my next visit and the delights it will undoubtedly offer. All my respect and love to the...
Read moreRA Sushi in Pembroke Pines offers a delightful fusion of Japanese cuisine with creative twists, and three standouts on the menu are the garlic edamame, the Viva Las Vegas roll, and their refreshing mocktails. Starting with the garlic edamame, this dish takes a classic starter and elevates it with bold, aromatic flavors. The edamame is perfectly steamed, tender yet firm, and generously coated with a savory garlic. The garlic is fragrant without being overpowering, striking a perfect balance between richness and freshness. It's a simple dish, but the added garlic twist makes it utterly addictive, leaving you reaching for more with every bite. The Viva Las Vegas roll is one of RA Sushi's signature creations, and it lives up to its reputation. This deep-fried roll is a flavor-packed indulgence, filled with crab and cream cheese, then tempura-battered for a light, crispy texture. The roll is topped with spicy tuna, a sweet eel sauce, and crunchy lotus root chips, which add both flavor and an exciting mix of textures. The sweetness from the sauce and the slight heat from the tuna complement the creamy richness of the interior, making this roll a must-try for sushi lovers who enjoy a fusion of flavors. To complement the meal, RA Sushiâs mocktails are refreshing and inventive. They offer a variety of alcohol-free options that are thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor. Whether itâs a fruity blend of citrus and berries or something tropical with coconut and pineapple, the mocktails are light, refreshing, and pair perfectly with the savory sushi offerings. They provide a great option for those who want a flavorful, non-alcoholic drink without sacrificing creativity or taste.
Overall, RA Sushi in Pembroke Pines is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers looking for bold flavors and fun twists on Japanese classics. The garlic edamame and Viva Las Vegas roll are standout dishes that showcase the restaurant's innovative approach, while the mocktails offer a perfect way to round out the experience with a burst...
Read moreMost flavorful sushi place I have been (although still doesnât flavor sushi rice like the best one I have tried in San Francisco) due to sauces they used when preparing and plating. I ordered the crazy monkey roll and scallop dynamite. Crazy monkey had good portions of cream cheese and smoked salmon while scallop dynamite was full of flavor with the sauce but was a little messy. The waiter and reception were friendly. Service time was a bit slower than most sushi places but I found food much better than most. Presentation was lovely as well as ambience. Plenty of seating outside and inside with closing time two to three hours later than the rest of sushi restaurants in the area. Although portions are the same as most places, I was full half way through my second roll so didnât get to try dessert. I was delighted to find a more different flavor profile in their menu (most places are bland and you rely on the heavy mayonnaise, wasabi and soy sauce for flavor) but scallop dynamite was too creamy so I will try something else next time. The crazy monkey was light and airy but left me wanting more. My sister and mom werenât impressed with this place and preferred the other restaurants that I hated. So I guess itâs a difference of taste and palate. They like a lot of raw sushi so were expecting more exotic flavors but if you are a hamburger and pizza lover like me who enjoys variety but want to keep it safe, I recommend giving this place a chance. Decor inside is nice but I forgot to take pictures since it was late and we were starving (it was the third restaurant we drove to because everyone else was closing). The only negative thing was the plates, they seem dirty even when we asked for replacements. Didnât have to use the restrooms so donât know where it is located or condition. Will update when I try this place again. Pricing was decent as long as you donât order any lobster dishes. Bill was $107 for 4 rolls and three other dishes as well...
