This was my first time here, and my gosh, it was such a wonderful experience! We arrived while it was pouring and the staff so kindly told us which area was less cold since we just came from the rain. The decor feels as if you are transported into a different world. It is absolutely gorgeous to look at with live music. Our waiter, Khaled, was absolutely amazing! He was very patient and answered all the questions we had, both about the menu, the instrument the musician was playing, and any details we had about the dishes. He was very attentive and always made sure we were content with our meal and needed extra pita or drinks. The other staff members were also very helpful and friendly, always asking us if we were enjoying our first-time experience there.
For the food, we took all of Khaled's food recommendations, and I personally could not have been any happier for a birthday dinner!
There was complimentary pita bread with garlic butter. The bread was very warm and when we finished the plate we were given more warm bread. We then tried the Tabbouleh and Mixed Appetizer platter with Hummus, Fried Kibbeh, Falafel, and the Cheese Rolls. All the dishes were well seasoned. For the main entrees, we shared the Sirocco Grill for two and the Lebanese Bistec.
We were already filled from the appetizer course, so im glad we were recommended a small portion. All the meats were so tender and juicy that I couldn't believe it. For the fillet kabab, we asked for the meat well done as some of my family members prefer it, and it was still very moist. The Sirocco Grill came with Mediterranean rice, and that had such an interesting flavor profile in a good way. In terms of the Lebanese Bistec, the sauce that came with the meat was very delicious, and it complimented the Mash potatoes.
We did have dessert and got the Knefe W' Kake and the Pistachio Baklava with ice cream. The Knefe W' Kake was an interesting experience and one I will definitely try again. It was a warm semolina over cheese. I'm not a big fan of cheese, but it was so delicious, and with the sesame bun, it changed the flavor in such an amazing way. As for the Pistachio Baklava, I am always excited to try new versions of Baklava, and this one was so good. The ice cream had a flavor that I still can not pinpoint. It was a bit floral but nutty, and it complemented the taste of the pistachio. All in all I am very happy to have tried this restaurant and I will absolutely visit again. Thank you to Khaled and the rest of the staff for the wonderful...
Read moreFeb 28, 2025 planned a 40th bday at this restaurant. Let me start by saying that this place is staffed with a bunch of kids. I originally booked a group of 12, but 4 days before the dinner i called back and advised I need a table for 13, they said "no problem"... we show up the night of, and our table for 13 is given to a party of 11 and we had to squeeze at a table for 10 ppl. Uggghhhh!
Cool we make the best of the situation. My bf goes to sit down, his shirt gets caught on a wire that is sticking out of the wall from the busted decor! Tears his shirt! No biggie let's continue the night... our waitress Samay, cute girl but she is Out to Lunch!
Asks me how I want the bill, I tell her "please split it", she advises "I can only split it 6 ways", I say "perfect there are 6 couples, pls split it by couple".... at the end of the night she hands me 1 BILL! I complain to the manager she then takes 40 minutes redoing everyone's order, kills the vibe.
At the beginning of the evening I advise her I will order 2 appetizers platters mainly dips (hummus, baba ganoush, humahara etc) for the table, with pita. Platters show up, but no pita, Samay no where to be found, bus boys have no clue. 20 min later pita shows up! After we've licked hummus off a spoon!
Samay hands out menus, asks if we want drinks. We all say "yes!" She walks away disappeared for 20 minutes... no water upon return, finally takes our drink orders.
There was only 1 bus boy who knew how to work, understood the urgency of bringing us pita. God bless him.
Every 20 minutes the speakers would BLAST an obnoxious happy bday song, so the whole restaurant gets disturbed.
I had to get up 2x to complain to Mustafa the manager, seemingly nice, but his job is clearly a social hour for him and not a real job. By the end of the night I saw him sitting and fraternizing at a table.
He advised that he lost a chef that day. my complaint isn't about the food, is the fact that the staff has no clue what they're doing. No consideration to the fact that appetizers needed pita, No sense of urgency for drink orders, complete lack of organization and attention to detail with table...
Read moreMy husband and I visited the Dania Pointe location which was open just three days and can say that this restaurant was a 15 on a 10 rating! We have been to many upscale and high quality restaurants and this restaurant definitely made our list of favorites!! From the moment we entered we were greeted with such welcome by Kadihja, the hostess. We were graciously led to our dinner table and Alexander immediately welcomed us. From start to finish Alexander provided impeccable service which made our evening very nice. The owner, Tarek welcomed us with great friendliness, respect and gratitude. We began our meal with the Lebanese Cheesesticks (which were absolutely delicious), we had the Lebanese Bistec (which was so delicious that my husband who never eats mushrooms ate every single mushroom in the sauce! The meat was so tender and the mash potatoes were delicious!) We ended our meal with Baklava (which was also great!). We also had two lovely glasses of Lebanese Rose wine to compliment our delicious meals. The ambiance, food, and service was so excellent we went back a week later to celebrate my husband’s birthday with the family. We all had an above expectations experience and wanted to share with others. You will not be disappointed!!! We will definitely be coming back!
If you have dined at high end restaurants, then you will be able to easily notice that negative comments are posted for no other reason than the person posting either being cheap and unable to recognize quality as they are accustomed to eating in low quality restaurants…or that complaining about anything and everything is a way for their next meal to be comped out for free food.
As said earlier this restaurant was fabulous and we will be...
