Nicely prepared and Delicious!! Highly recommended. 8905 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL A family member recommended Vicky Bakery for a family gathering (actually, a Memorial Service). I selected the closest location. We chose 25-piece trays of pappa rellena, meat pastalitos, mini pan con bistec sandwiches, and a baker's choice dessert tray from the online pdf menu (not the delivery menu) and placed the order during the week for a Sunday, 9:30am pickup. As a side note, this location does not have the mini sandwiches on its menu but the person I spoke with said it was no problem to make those for us. I called on Sunday to confirm the order was ready and was told it was being prepared. I liked that because I assume it was fresh and had not been prepared the day before. When I arrived, they took the trays of food from the back (kitchen, I presume) and wrapped everything within my view. The food looked really nice, particularly the dessert tray. This is not a "fancy" restaurant but the display cases offer a wide selection of beautiful options. At the location of the gathering, we didn't have a way to keep the food warm. Nonetheless, everything was delicious. There was nothing left except four pieces of dessert, which I was more than happy to take home. This location is now one of my go-to places to order for gatherings and probably for a quick sit-down coffee and lunch or quick bite. If the other locations are as good, use the one...
Read moreI had the worst experience possible as a dine in customer. I have been a “grab and go” customer since they opened and love their coffee and goods. Yesterday at 5pm, I had 2 friends meet me for coffee and a bite, there was low foot traffic, one table dinning in so it was perfect for conversation. The woman with short blonde hair and light eyes approached our table notifying they would close in 15 min, we thanked her and wrapped up immediately cleaning up after ourselves THEN all of a sudden she comes and tells us that we are not welcome to be at her establishment for longer than and hour and we were there for an hour and a half and we were occupying space. Granted we each had a coffee, then grabbed pastries and afterwards savory goods. This woman spoke to my elderly pastor in such a disrespectful manner getting stepping his face in a way which he could not move to leave. I am so disgusted by this woman’s actions, if someone is having a bad day, projecting it into paying respectful customers is terrible. The first time that I decide that this place, would be a something that I want to enjoy my coffee and meal inside for once, I experience this. The staff is great, however that woman, should be limited to interacting with customers period. I can understand if this was treated how some people treat Starbucks as a ”grab a water and sit” for hours, however paying consuming customers being treated poorly, with no standing...
Read moreTerrible experience at this Vicky Bakery location. Firstly, I did a pick up order over the phone and when I got there to pick it up I had to wait the entire line of 10 people. Then, when I asked the women at the front counter if they had a pick up station for online/ phone orders she gave me attitude telling me I had to wait the entire in store line. Also, there was construction going literally outside the front entrance, they seemed to be working on the roof which was throwing debris everywhere. Lastly, when we got home to eat the food there was ham croquetas missing, the food was dry and the ham and cheese was missing on the egg, cheese and...
