Cadillac Jack's Saloon & Grill — Restaurant in Pendleton

I didn’t order any food. I ordered a beer from the bar on a busy night and was helped in a very timely manner, beer was great. Only problem was with the pool table rules. (Which are stated, on a small sign on the wall) we paid $1.50 and no pool balls came out of the table later we figured out you had to lend your ID to acquire the pool balls first and your first game is “free” so we did that. Before playing we also stated that the machine took $1.50 of our money with no explanation. We Played a few games then went back to get our ID, but we needed the balls out of the table. (So we ended up paying double for our last game, therefore the first game wasn’t “free”) We complained again to the manager about the $1.50 from earlier, and that we didn’t want to pay for another game just to get the pool balls out to get our ID back. A few smart remarks were made from the manager in an impolite manner, then the manager walked away. So we followed the rules, payed for the extra game to return our balls and got the ID back. After receiving our ID card we made a complaint to an employee to display better signage on the rules of pool at this bar and recommend refunds or some sort of sympathy for the confusion. During this time of re-obtaining our ID another group had inserted coins into the same pool table and encountered the same issue. This review as made NOT because me and my group lost $1.50 but because of the poor costumer service from the manager, the manager was not interested in understanding our situation and showed no efforts to better our experience. The employee we spoke to gave sympathy and mentioned they would bring the issue up to ownership as they stated this issue...

Favorite bar to drink at in town, UNTIL 8PM! at 8 the ogres come out. At 8 they start karaoke, I don’t hate karaoke. Although I do hate when it’s the same 4 people singing the same 13 songs with no tempo and off tune. It’s one thing if it’s some random people up butchering a song and having fun. I can get on board with that all night! But when you think that you’re some kind of local celebrity because you butcher the same 5 songs every night, that’s where I just get fed up. I Don’t think American idol will be scouting here anytime soon.

The food: Excellent!

kitchen staff: Great 4/7 nights.

Bartenders: excellent when it’s the regular gals.

Amusements: Great! Pool tables are the best in town!

I drink here every day, and bring our crews, and subcontractors in. But once the ear torture begins, we go elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for what we thought was a drink and quick bite to eat. As we entered there was a tall dark haired male bartender and blonde female bartender on shift and a few customers at the bar who all looked our way as we walked in and sat down. The blonde woman was serving the women at the bar and chatting. We took a table and quietly waited. After the blonde bartender completed the women's order, we thought she would come to our table and take our order. Instead she walked from behind the bar to the side, leaned into the bar and continued her chat with the customers not once acknowledging us. After 5 minutes, we left. I can understand if they were busy, but clearly, they were not. Was it because we were Mexican? Was it because we didn't fit a specific profile? Who knows, but we will...
