Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Pendleton

We ordered papa john’s pizza quite frequently. Occasionally there are times when they are really busy and it will take longer than normal to get our order, but we will call in and the will update us on how much longer it will be for our order to arrive. Tonight I placed my order at 6:30 pm using the app. It said our pizza would be here in 90 minutes. This is longer than normal so I assumed they must be having a busy night. So I waited a full 2 hours before calling to check on the order. I was on hold waiting for someone to answer their phone for 27 minutes! During this time someone picked up with out saying anything and put me right back on hold; twice! I only hung up the phone when our order finally arrived at 9:10 pm! The poor kid that became to the door handed my my order and just said, “sorry I know this is probably about two hours late” and left. Needless to say our food was cold and not all of our garlic knots were fully cooked. I wouldn’t have been so irritated if someone would have answered the phone and let me know what was going on. Where to even begin on this review. I ordered online. Arrived 34 minutes after placing the online order. Clerk says it will be another 25 to 30 minutes after the confirmation email telling me to pickup in 30 minutes. So I proceed to step outside and call spouse to ask if we should wait. So I go back in and ask to cancel the order. Clerk acts like I should wait after I waited behind 3 people to cancel after waiting behind 2 when I first arrived. Customer service is big in my book. The not getting a apology or even a sorry is unacceptable. I done what I was told and even gave a few extra minutes before arriving. At no point was I rude or angered. I just told her if you can't do what the confirmation email says,then that needs to be corrected. I went to my car and ordered from a pizza place down the road and got it in 23 minutes. Less time than had I waited...

If I could leave no stars I would first i will never order from these people EVER AGAIN…. 2nd the the mangers are so disrespectful always on there phone even on a FRIDAY NIGHT I went in there at 530 when the rush is beginning I understand? And it smelt like pot i really hope there not lacing our pizzas and other stuff with it But 3rd my papadia had NO cheese on it and I ordered 5 cheese cups and they told me i can only have one…. I PAID FOR freaking 5 then next Friday after that I ordered for delivery and the delivery name was margo and threw it in my face and when i called and asked to speak to a manger the person who Awnsers laughed at me hung up and sad part is i been ordering from this papa johns for 5 plus years i will never be returning your best bet is to get a pizza from pizza hut...
