We came by Prodigal Son to pick up Mr. Wonderful’s race packet. Once we entered, we knew we’d be enjoying their food offerings. Spacious, welcoming environment - well lit and clean. Ella was our waitress and just by watching- we noticed she was taking care of the entire restaurant! She was friendly and efficient. Mr. wonderful. ordered the Pit Boss and it was cooked perfection. I had a patty melt, and it was equally as good. The sweet potato fries are what did it for me, they were perfect! We also wanted to give a shout out to Reannah who was very detail oriented in handling the entire bar area by herself - with so many beer orders! Great job ladies, you do this business proud! We will be racing up here again next year & plan on stopping at this establishment…. once again.

Forst, love the decor, the vibe, the mood the staff and the food! To start I had a glass of Ella IPA which was smooth and low on the IBUs. We ordered 2 appetizers, Cauliflower and wings. Both were well plated and tasted amazing! For entrees my wife had the Q and I had the mac and cheese. Both were wonderful. Okay 2 tiny complaints, the ordered appetizers didnt come until after our entrees and a glass of water didnt come until after the entrees but to be fair they were busy as heck! And the food was so good and plated so elegantly that we honestly didnt care. But for that little complaint I would give 5 stars.... but we will be back soon and often! If you havent been I would suggest you make it a New Years Resolution you will not regret!

It was okay, but we loved the beer. We had onion rings and brisket tacos, and the kid had chicken strips and fries. Honestly the chicken strips were the best of the three. I had high hopes for that brisket taco, but I'm disappointed to say it just lacked any flavor in my opinion. Also totally a matter of opinion, but we weren't huge fans of the batter on the onion rings- it was more of a panko type breading which just isn't our preference. As I said, the beer is great. And we loved the outdoor, dog-friendly seating. Service was relatively quick as well.

We have been going to Prod since the beginning as I lived 1 block away when they opened and we continued to go there until we moved in 2015. We happened to be in town, and decided we would go and enjoy a once favorite spot of ours for dinner. We got to the restaurant about 715pm, and there were hardly any patrons, and the staff didn't really seem excited we were there. We ordered (the menu had a lot of the same great items), and then we got our drinks, and were discussing why it was so dead on a Saturday night at a place that was always packed on the weekends. Part of our order arrived, and we waited for the rest...it didn't come and the waiter never came back to check on us about our meal so far...so I had to go over to the bar and ask about our appetizer and the wings that I had ordered. There wasn't any sort of acknowledgement that sorry your whole order had not arrived yet, just a let me check on it. The rest of order came out and was fine, but the food quality appeared to be less than the years of visits before. Our little had a kids meal and they didn't bring his dessert, the ranch was extremely runny, and by the time we finished our meal, the restaurant was pretty much cleared out. We overheard a staff member letting someone know they close at 8pm now...so on a summer/weekend/evening in a tourist town, the pub/bar closes at 8pm. Didn't make a lot of sense, but also explained why there were not very many people around. Good place to eat, just didn't meet the expectations from the many memories that we had there...

If I could do zero stars, I would - that is how awful, rude, poor customer service this place is. I'm not one to leave reviews, but after my poor experience here, and chat with the owner, I feel it only necessary. I would NOT recommend EVER going here. Flavorless food, horrible service, and ignorant owner. I was told (by the owner) that maybe I should go to McDonald's instead, after I called to tell him our experience at his restaurant. I was trying to speak to our waitress about an issue when she just turned her back and walked away, refusing to help us any further. We were passing through Pendleton on our way home from a trip and thought this place looked good, but we were dead wrong. Don't be fooled too. So not only did I pay for this meal nobody ate, we had to pay for a second dinner elsewhere that actually had decent food. If you have all day, want mediocre food at best, don't mind poor service, and want to overpay for what you do get - then this is the place for you. If not, trust me, you will definitely want to go...

I was disappointed tonight with our dinner experience. Most of the times we've been there it's been good food, good brew and a good experience. Tonight... not so much. The food I ordered was barely luke warm. When I asked to have them reheat it, they instead threw the whole thing out and made it anew. When I got it, everyone else was done eating. Then, when we left we accidentally left Mom's leftovers behind. My husband went in five minutes later, and they'd thrown it out already. I can't figure out why the wait staff would throw out a to-go box of food. It seems pretty obvious that it was simply forgotten, and a little more time should have been allowed before disposing of the box. Yes, we should have remembered, but it was Mom's first time out to dinner after being hospitalized. We were not remembering her box initially because we were just trying to get her out the door in her walker and with oxygen attached. So, Mom ate half of her meal and the rest was thrown away. I'm pretty disappointed right now with...
