Heritage Station Museum — Attraction in Pendleton

We stopped by to use the free dump station, and also had antsy kiddos. 3+ kids are $5, adults $10.

Fantastic, fenced-in open area for kids to run around, watch a train go by if you're lucky, and a little wheat play table for toddlers. This was a nice museum with local pioneer history. You can go into an old log house that is furnished as it might have been. Recorded audio tells about the family that built and lived in the home. The museum also has a caboose to walk through and a pioneer barn to peek inside. In the museum building are numerous displays of Pioneer life. Went on an adventure to Pendleton to check this place out and it's a little expensive for a small town museum however it was a cool place to check out. It has some nice displays like the settlers cabin and the Caboose but I would have thought there would be more to the native American displays seeing how they are a big part of the local history.. check it out for...
