Up With Donuts — Restaurant in Pendleton

Best buttermilk bar in the world. I've tried hundreds, all across the US, and this is seriously the best. I first stopped here in 2021 on a drive from Texas to Washington, and was blown away by how good the donuts were. 3 years later, and I choose my route from Texas to Seattle to specifically stop overnight in Pendleton just to visit Up With Donuts again. They did not disappoint. The buttermilk bar is still perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft but not gooey on the inside, noticeable buttermilk flavor without weird chemical notes.

HORRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! THE OWNER STARTED YELLING AT ME WHEN I SIMPLY ASKED IF ONE OF HIS DONUTS WAS ACCIDENTALLY PRICED WRONG. THE DONUT IN QUESTION WAS MARKED $4.75. OH AND BY THE WAY YES IT IS THE CORRECT PRICE! TOTALLY INSANE! ALL OTHER DONUTS THAT ARE TINY AND NOTHING SPECIAL COST $1.20 ea. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR REALLY DELICIOUS DONUTS YOU MUST TAKE A DRIVE TO THE SMALL COMMUNITY OF SANDY, OR. AND GO TO JOE'S DONUTS, NOW THIS PLACE KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE WONDERFUL, DELICIOUS, LARGE, TASTY DONUTS THAT ARE MORE THAN REASONABLY PRICED. THEIR REG. Glorious counts of gourmet donuts. Staff, questionable understanding of English. Atmosphere was meh, needs to be brighter, and install more comfy seating. My problem with the staff last week was when I say I'm ordering for a party, I want one of everything I shouldn't have to say it 12 ways to get you to understand. It's like lady c'mon I said gimmie one of everything... I just stopped her after 1 dozen bc she kept asking 1 of each of these? 1 of each of these? Then again one of each of those?
