This place is a gem on a long drive of establishments which have nothing but lettuce plates for those with multiple food allergies. I, myself, am celiac and just this past year, my body decided I don't like eggs anymore. What can you do? So, after a week or so of research...trying to find a place or two we can eat...or to be more accurate...I can eat, on the way to see family and return home, I came across this little gem. The restaurant is far larger on the inside than outside impressions lead one to believe. There is free parking in the back of the building...though not one shaded spot. There is a back entry door to the restaurant, which leads you past the two, single person use bathrooms. You walk out into the more closely seated, cozy, entry dining area and they request you walk to the front and wait to be seated. At the time we arrived, they were seating everyone in the much more cavernous space connected by a quaint brick wall. The lights are all recycled Pendleton whiskey, glass bottles. They hang decor by wood plugs in the motor of the bricks. We quickly ordered as we both knew we wanted a burger. You can order one with a gluten free bun. It's an OK bun. I'm not sure who makes it. It had good flavor but quickly disolved as you ate your burger. My other half had that bun. I've grown to prefer my meat sans bread at all, so I ordered mine with a knife and fork. The bacon was generous, fresh and delicous. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium-rare, as per my request. If you are sensitive to salt...you may want to request light salt. It was far better than most places, but when I return, I will ask for less salt. The fries are contaminated if you are celiac. If you're just intolerant, you may be able to handle the fact that they are cross-contaminated with bread foods cooked in the same fryer. That being the case, we ordered coleslaw. This is a food I tend to be dissapointed in across the board, when I eat out. I was very happy that this coleslaw was very good, not too much celery salt or salt in general...as is usually the case. I was even happier to see they have a gluten free brownie. Desert is something I usually don't have a chance to partake in. So, of course, we dived in and split one. This desert could easily feed three or even four people. It arrives with multiple, dainty scoops of egg free (thank goodness) vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and cocoa powder. I had to call it quits before I ate half of it. It was really good but I would have been sick from over-eating, had I tried to finish it. This desert was near the ten buck mark...but again, it feeds multiples, so that and gluten free goods being more pricy to make..it's well priced. I was surprised there was no whiskey on the menu, given the multitudes of whiskey bottle lights, but they did have a good cider. My all time favorite and go-to cider is Angry Orchard unfiltered. This was not as good, as it was sweeter and less mouthy, but probably better suited to appeal to many cider drinkers. We walked away very happy, very full and took advantage of the bathrooms before hitting the road for another four hours of driving. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful and suit the historic, beauty of the building itself. This is not a budget place to eat but you are getting high quality, local, ingredients and excellent service. The waitresses were friendly, willing to ask questions and did not leave my water empty. I drink like a camel, so most places I have to ask for my own pitcher as they don't check often enough. This was not the case here. I highly recommend this place, regardless of food allergies. It's a gem in a world of franchises and bland, flavorless stops.

Hubby and I were passing through Pendleton on our way home and swung in for lunch. I'm torn on this Rating. I truly am. If we are ever back in Pendleton we will give them another try. Looks like it would be super fun on a warm clear night. Service was excellent! Loved the atmosphere and feel.Flavor was great..So why only 3 star? .... The food wasn't as warm as it should be... The tomato bisque was one of the best I've had, but the cheese on top didn't even begin to melt. It was served room temperature. I had the PBJJ slider, hubby ordered a chili burger: about the same standard as Killer Burger. Again, burgers were in need reheating. And I wish we had been given the option on the burgers to order them medium. It was a nice thick patty, good quality beef; would have been more flavorful it it was served medium instead of well done and room temp. The sweet potato fries were good... But nothing special, just well made sweet potato fries.

Small towns don’t often have really good dining choices for travelers. That’s especially been my experience each time I am in Pendleton. Despite is picturesque setting along the Umatilla River and walkable downtown, it’s a good desert outside of the commercial fast food fare. Then I found OMG. The menu looked inventive and non-basic, so I opted to try it out. They also offer the Beyond Burger, which I love! I got the PBJJ burger (sub Beyond), which is exactly what you think, and the extra J is for jalapeño. Which was a perfect addition. The bun was good and not greasy, and didn’t have an obnoxious knife stabbed thru the middle. The fries were nice and crisp, perfectly cooked. And my cocktail was whipped vodka (?!) and super tasty. I was surprised and happy, well fed, and look forward to my next trip to Pendleton even more now. Please never close down. Recommend you avert you gaze from the Wall of Eat and Gather kitsch, though.

So today would be my 7th or 8th time eating at OMG Burgers. I must say that my perseverance of "second chances" has run out. First time... we sat outside on a nice evening during the Farmers Market... wasn't busy at all and the service was prompt at first. We ordered our drinks (sodas), food, and asked for water. Our sodas were brought promptly and we reminded the waitress about the waters. Food was brought, and once again reminded the waitress about our waters, and maybe a refill on our sofas. Long story short, food was good, no water ever brought, no soda refills, and the waitress never came to check on us, except to deliver the bill. Another visit... I went in with my children... VERY busy... good atmosphere... we were seated quickly and ordered our drinks and food. Food came fairly quickly considering the crowd, but the waitress forgot to place the order for my sons food... no expediting whatsoever, and some attitude for questioning why his food didn't arrive. My daughter and I finished our food, and I was paying the bill as my sons food arrived. No apology or discount every offered. Went back again... all seemed well... asked for fry sauce with my kids meals. (For their fries) waitress said no problem... got charged $1 per "extra sauce"... didn't question it but seemed a bit excessive for a side of fry sauce that is included with an adult meal. Whatever I guess. Today... all seemed well... placed our orders, got water and soda, and even a refill as we waited for our food to arrive. Food arrives and I take my first bite from my Gouda burger to have a nearly 12" black hair stuck in my mouth as I chew my first bite. Pulled the remainder of the hair from the burger and held back my gags as I placed it back on the tray in front of me. Didn't make a scene and sat patiently, waiting for the waitress. She came out and offered a treat for the dog sitting with the nice young men next to us... no stopping at our table... she came back out again and rang up their tab and talked about going to the bar and hanging out with them later... still didn't stop to check on us... came out again and asked how we were doing... I showed her the long hair on my tray and she quickly took it back and said she'd take care of it... she came back out shortly after and apologized and I expressed that I was no longer interested in eating. She told me that I'd get a discount... ok... so... sure enough... discounted the burger I didn't eat, but still a full bill besides that... and yes, I left the 15% tip... nearly $25 for two kids meals and drinks. I would attach a picture of the bill and the party crashing hair if possible. After having this happen, it's quite obvious that OMG Burgers does not know how to make it right... we will not...

Me and my family stopped into town on our way back into Washington, we’ve been on the road for days and have had a lot of food on this trip.. and this place was beyond my expectations… I personally had the buffalo chicken sandwich and onion rings and OMG is the perfect name because omg was it delicious… the chicken was fried perfect and it was smothered in buffalo sauce , blue cheese, and blue cheese crumbles and it was messy! One of my favorite things in a chicken sandwich of this caliber! the mess is half the deliciousness of it! my wife had the Cobb salad and pickle fries and they looked absolutely amazing and were delicious! she said it was one of the best salads she’s ever had and those pickle fries were perfectly crispy , my son hand a cheeseburger and tots and he said they were awesome!

We also indulged in some cheese curds and they were some of the best curds I’ve ever had omg crispy cheesy a little salty just perfect!

We had take out so sadly I didn’t get much of a chance to check the interior out but it looked very laid back and almost somewhere where you and the family could go or take a couple buddy’s for a beer and an amazing burger.

They were very prompt and handled the order with speed and were amazing when I went to pick it up. The young lady already knew I was there to pick up my order . And I didn’t even have to ask I was in line and two other customers were getting helped and she saw me from across the restaurant and brought us our food and was very nice!

Thank you omg wow burgers for Giving my family one of our best meals in days!!! 10/10 would absolutely eat here again and will if I’m...
