Dunkin’s are usually pretty bad. Most of them don’t know how to make simple drinks right. I know places are short staffed. But the problems were even pre-pandemic. Ordering a featured menu item is usually a guessing game if it’s going to be any good or have any flavoring. Ordering a peppermint mocha should probably be warm and taste like peppermint. But it is cold and has no peppermint. Ordering a pumpkin spice latte should taste like pumpkin, but it tastes unsweetened and worse than any handcrafted drink I’ve ever had. Go to Starbucks, or better yet, support your local coffee shops instead. They’ll get it right.
Update: my wife went there for a promotion they had for $3 salted caramel lattes. They didn’t have any. But they had regular caramel. Weird? But if you’re running a promotion, order plenty of product for that promotion. We stopped going to Dunkin because of this store. But she only went because of this promotion. This store continues to disappoint.
November 2025 update: went here because wife and I were gifted a gift card. Dylan at the register was very helpful and accommodating. The drinks we had were actually good. Wife tried a candy bar latte and I had a pumpkin spice latte and a small dark roast. After 3 years of avoiding Dunkin Donuts all together, we may be back. I still prefer to give money to local coffee shops instead of chains. But this is a positive sign for...
Read moreMy wife & I stopped in during lunchtime on a whim after visiting a nearby client job site. After a brief wait behind two customers in line, a nice young fellow asked how he could help us. We said that we'd like to buy 2 dozen donuts. His manager, who had been standing behind him said "What's with all of the late risers today looking for donuts?" (In a non joking manner). I told him that my wife and I had been everywhere from Wexford & Monroeville, to Penn hills since 7am and thought donuts would be a nice treat to take home. He didn't apologize. We felt judged as lazy late bloomers who sleep in every day or something. The donuts were up to par as expected, though the selection was slim. It is after all a 'donut shop', so should it matter what time one arrives? Should they not be refilling the donut racks after a morning rush in a donut shop? We didn't complain about the selection while there; that was an afterthought. We did however mention to the nice lad who took our order that the place smelled sour as if an old dirty dish rag was used to wipe the floors..but we said that in a nice whisper so someone...
