Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Pennsville Township

Disappointed to say the least. The main course of our food was great my burger was very juicy and everything on it was great and my friends steak and mac and cheese were delicious as well unfortunately that's where the good stopped. My side french fries were basically all end pieces and hard and my friends broccoli was brown and wet and obviously had been sitting all day. She also got one of the special holiday drinks which was good but missing the gummy that is supposed to be in the drink as it has in the picture but didn't have any really shouldn't advertise it if you don't have it. Now on to the service which was absolutely horrible no other way to describe it. Over 20 minutes for our food asked for a soda refill and waited 10 minutes for that which I finally got at the end of my meal which I didn't really need at that point. She never asked once if everything was ok I had also mentioned it was my friend's birthday and nothing from the waitress (Jordan) not even a token Happy Birthday. The atmosphere is a typical Applebee's nothing special but still nice and clean inside and out but who really goes for just the atmosphere nowadays and when the atmosphere is the best part of your meal that's a BIG PROBLEM. Goes without saying we will not be going back as this location as this was our first and last visit to this Applebee's which is ashame as it's only 5 minutes from my house I guess it's back to Cracker Barrel right next store. So save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere because it's not worth it TRULY...

The only thing good I can say about this place is our waiter was very nice and sweet..my fiance wanted to take me out to a romantic dinner and since I had great experience in Michigan with Applebee's I suggested it..I ordered the loaded steak fajitas which the steak was very burnt and they bring topping in a very small plate to make your own taco out of fajita stuff and they didn't give much but for maybe one taco. My fiance ordered the bacon cheeseburger well done and he didn't want the bacon on it cause it don't settle in his stomach right he just wanted the sauce on it..they bring it first time and the bacon was on it..so they took it back brought out another one and no sauce and the outside was burnt while inside was raw..they had it on to high heat to cook that it cooked and burnt inside before having chance to cook inside..so after one bite and seeing that my fiance was frustrated and wanted to leave..so turned a romantic evening into a disaster and my fiance hungry cause he couldn't eat and refused...

Not being able to get an answer out of either of my daughters as to where they wanted to go out to eat even when they were the ones who said they wanted to go out and since I had a $25 gift card I was saving to use for a couple lunches I instead suggested we go here. We arrived a little after 4:00 and even though not all were yet present the 3 of us who were there were seated immediately. While looking over the menu I saw we were there at the right time for the half price appetizers so when all had arrived we ordered a couple as well as our meal all of which came out in an acceptable amount of time. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and easy to talk with and even appeared to enjoy her job and not just there while waiting for a better job. Since this Applebees is only about 25 minutes from home and 10 minutes from church it is probably my favorite of all the Applebees I go to and we will be...
