Tops Buffet — Restaurant in Pennsylvania

I apologize in advance for the length of this review however I don't want to leave a one-star review without explaining this one started view is based on several visits by not only myself but members of my family to this place of years ago I used to love coming to Thomas buffet the food was always delicious hot fresh the staff was always courteous however in the last four or five years that has completely flipped the last time I went in to tops which will be my final time ever visiting this place was approximately 2 months ago I went in and sat down to eat the food and my first plate that I had gotten the green beans were called and a few other things weren't fresh I chalked it up to it's a buffet they probably just haven't rotated yet I walked back up got another plate I seen the staff starring the contents of the various platters I got another plate the mushroom chicken had a slimy texture to it the green beans were still cold and also was the shrimp fried rice I sent that plate to the side went up one final time figured I would get classics that are pretty fresh and rotated regularly like chicken nuggets french fries the french fries were hard and cold chicken nuggets were hot but they were terrible I spoke to a manager and asked to be refunded my money with which I was given a hard time and I left I had similar experiences to this on three previous occasions with the exception of I didn't leave I ended up finding something that was palatable recently my nieces and my brother went to tops and they had the exact same experiences I had months ago I urge everybody reading this to pick a different place to eat the new main moon in Sharon is a three mile drive and a road away as...

I recently went to there buffet and was sadly let down by the service and the food. First the food, it was fresh and yet still cold and tasted like it was frozen then cooked without any effort. A lot of it was bland and when i went to get lo mein there was water at the bottom from the lo mein being frozen and i know its frozen cause i have the same kind in my freezer right now. Very awful food. Second is the service, we didn't get fresh cups everytime we got a refill and then the soda is watered down very heavily and also my server kept staring at me and my family as we ate. Very uncomfortable. The third would be environment, as i sat and ate i realized under there hung up wall paper (held by staples or thumb tacs) is black mold growing from the ceiling, as i went to the bathroom you can see all the damage done because they hide holes in there walls with cheap art and posters. Then the bathroom was disgraceful. Worse then Sharon's McDonald's, there bathrooms toilet was coming out of its sockets. It felt like riding a bull then the toilet paper dispenser was so far away i could barely reach. Then the floors and walls were so disgusting even the cheap air circulation system was hanging from the ceiling ready to fall. They're buffet was disgusting and never will i eat there again. Unless you get the Mongolian BBQ, and the food is made fresh, right in front of you, this isn't an ideal place for dinning. The food is only mediocre, at best. It is not authentic Asian cuisine, and has a mix of American traditional buffet foods as well, again, not fresh, recycled and left to sit upon the buffet until the food has been taken by customers. I'm not health inspector by any means, however I will say that I dont believe the food is at a safe temperature to consume. The restrooms are atrocious. Every is connected by extension cords that run through the ceiling into the electrical appliances inside the restrooms. The dining room is almost always garunteed to be dirty with food and utensils under all tables. The walls have severe water damage and can be seen by customers. Lastly I will end the review with the price. It is highly priced, even more during the dinner service hours. 100% not worth the quality of food, nor the asking price to pay.
