Walgreens — Local services in Hermitage

Staff is rude, and pricing is always unclear.

Prices: Shelf price tags usually contain upwards of 3 different amounts, but without reading the extra fine print you may not realize that the lowest prices require the Walgreens app and log in. If you ask the staff at the counter about the price discrepancy, you’ll receive a snide remark like “Too bad. Everything is done online these days.”

Pharmacy: prescriptions take incredibly long periods of time to prepare. I’ve been quoted “20 minutes” and returned later for pick up only to be told “20 more minutes” : that Rx ultimately took 2 days before it was ready, the pharmacy was out of the drug that I needed. Another Rx was sent in from my Dr and when I stopped by for picked up several hours later, I was told it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. Returned the following day, to learn that the Rx was either never received or accidentally deleted. I had to ask my Dr to resend (he promised that the first Rx had gone through). So I waited another day and half to get my urgent Rx.

Never again...

Terrible experience. Waiting in line person in front of me tried to use points and a bunch of coupons on a purchase but the cashier nor the manager knew how to do it without voiding whole transaction, which was already bagged. So they unbagged all the items to start over and eventually the manager went to another counter and offered to take someone. All my items we already on the counter and my cart put away so I gathered them in my arms to go to other checkout as two people walked in and went straight to him with returns. So I had to wait again with my arms packed with items. No one at the store ever apologized for the inconvenience nor even gave a "sorry" look. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Never again. I will shop at the one in Sharon. Staff there...

Went in to print photos, not something I typically do. I asked lady at the photo counter the best way to print photos from 2020 and was told I had to down load all photos which I did. After scrolling and scrolling I was not able to find what I was looking for. A younger sales person came over and said " try this". Whatever she did put photos in order by dates and I readily found what I was looking for. What should have taken 10 minutes took me 30+ minutes. I asked the younger woman if the older sales person would have known about separating by dates and she said yes!!!! Where is the customer service????? Especially when I specifically asked for help up front. Very...
