Rarely do I ever write a review for a place, but honestly and truly, this staff deserves this review.
Today was another date day for my girlfriend and me. While we were out and about, we decided to hit up Cici's, as it has always been a childhood staple for me and since I recently introduced her to it a few months ago, she has fallen in love with it as well. We are always greeted with a smile and joy, even when I can tell they have had a long day. The staff are always working hard to make sure we have everything we want and need (whether it be certain pizzas, fixing the air hockey table, or checking in on how we are doing). The staff working today were Haley, Russell (Rusty), Josh, Whitney, and Tyler! I would watch them as problems would come up (like noticing something to clean or grabbing more dough or communicating pizza orders) and I can honestly say, they work fantastic together as a crew. Their efficiency is great, and they still keep the place bouncing with joy and service. I only got to really dig deep with a couple of the workers today, Haley & Rusty, and I HAVE to give them some praise.
Haley has worked there for a long time, and I remember her back then still being as joyous and hardworking as she is now. She is and has always been willing to help customers and do whatever she can to make sure not only we are happy but genuinely feel welcomed there. She still works just as hard, if not harder than when I saw her there multiple years ago. Haley is probably my girlfriends favorite worker there and she always loves to go up and chit chat with her and enjoy the company!
I have no clue how long Rusty has worked there, as I just started going back a couple months ago with my girlfriend after a multi year hiatus (because she said she never went as a child, and I couldn't let her keep going without experiencing it). Since we've started coming back, Rusty has been one of our favorite staff to see! He always has a smile on his face, and a genuine joy in his heart. He always truly checks in on people and I can say that we truly do love it and look forward to him being there!
I know I have written alot, but I can't help but to say just how amazing this place is, especially for both my girlfriend and I. So many memories have been made here from when I grew up and had birthday parties here, to late night snack nights with the guys, to now little date and game nights with the love of my life. Cici's will forever hold a spot in my childhood, but this place will forever hold a spot in my heart. Thank you to the team that helps make my memories some of the best ones...
Read moreThis is the third time we've been here and had to wait an insanely long time for a specific pizza. My 9 yr old wanted a mommy date to Cici's. She prefers the Mac n cheese pizza. Each time we get here, there is none so we request it. And each time we are told the standard 10 minutes. Fine. That's completely tolerable. This time is no different. Two minutes after arriving we are told the 10 minutes. Today, the manager is making pizzas. The nice girl changing out the buffet and making things look nice told him our request. 32 minutes after our request, the pizza finally arrives. That's AFTER I've asked a few more times how much longer. If you have a child, you understand the dilemma of waiting a long time to feed them. So, naturally, she fills up on other types (not her fave) and I cave to dessert because I'm unsure if her pizza will be made at all! 24 minutes after we arrive (no pizza at this point), I ask to see the manager. Not only do I see the same sweet girl tell him my request to see him, but I also watch him wait 6 more minutes before coming out from behind the counter only to clean up around the restaurant and walk past me to meet with another table (apparently complaining as well). Then, he walks right past me AGAIN and goes to the back kitchen. He hangs out in there for another 5 minutes before heading back to make more pizzas. At this point, ladies and gentleman, I'M DONE WITH CICI'S. The rest of the staff was wonderful and did their jobs with swiftness and bright smiles on their faces. Thank goodness they aren't following...
Read moreI don't know if we just went on a bad night but it was absolutely chaotic and the workers didn't even seem to care. When I went to the drink station, I heard 2 kids say that the sweet tea was empty and thats all they drink. After I got my drink, I couldn't find any lids or straws because there were none stocked. My husband asked if he could make a personal pizza order and they told him to write it down and get pager#6 and they would page him when it's ready. Well he waited almost 30 minutes and no pizza. When he went to check how long, he saw a pile of tickets (for the personal pizza orders) being ignored by the staff. After he said something to the worker, they told him to grab a new pager which would be pager#12! He told them his pager # was 6 and it didn't seem fair to get a new pager and wait even longer. They didn't argue with him but he was pretty upset at this point and so were other guests that were waiting on personal pizzas. When I went up to the buffet line, I heard a worker say they were done with this place and wanted to go home. I understand being tired after a long day at work but they were barely working! The drink supplies weren't stocked, no sweet tea made, long wait times for orders, and the lobby was a mess! We were there for basically an hour and not one worker came into the lobby to clean! Dirty tables everywhere and the floors were covered in trash! Only reason why I gave a 2 is because the cashier lady was nice and the...
