I wanted to give them five stars, however the open honest communication was not there. I dropped off a VERY, VERY DELICATE hummingbird necklace that I received as a gift for Christmas in 2012. My husband passed away that year on July 4th, and to commemorate his love of hummingbirds, his sister in Ohio sent me this necklace. The first time I put it on (I am 65), I clumsily broke the fastener. I paid $45.15 for repair by Richard Bryson Jeweler. When I picked up the necklace, it was NOT the same necklace that I gave them. I am satisfied because.....they must have taken the gold from the necklace I left and replaced it with another necklace that is sturdier, stronger, and heavier. The only gold that exists on it is on the hummingbird itself. So my disappointment is simply that there was not open and honest communication about how they were going to fix the necklace. Instead, they replaced it with another without telling me. I am not good at confrontation so I accept what happened and have learned something valuable. Read moreI love this place! The owners are such kind people. I had been getting my watches & jewelry fixed there for like 3yrs and in the past year have ordered jewelry from them. NOT disappointed. Im overly satisfied for their business and kindness. So polite, great customer service. All gold is 14 kts. My whole family had sensitivity to fake jewelry, 14kt or more is a MUST!!!! This bracelet in particular was made in Africa! My favorite part about it. I also got my son allergy bracelet which is hospital grade steel, no allergy to that metal. They even adjusted the length of the bracelets for us when they came in. They do have several books to look through for specific orders. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Read moreThese reviews are spot on! Called the shop to ask about repairing/cleaning my Grandfather’s old necklace and spoke with a gentlemen who was extremely kind and helpful, answering all questions I had. Stopped by today and again was greeted and welcomed to the shop making the experience extremely comfortable and easy. Due to the metal being of lesser quality than I thought, I decided to purchase a new chain to have the pendant attached to. I was even given tips on how to try and keep the pendant from corroding as best as possible which is incredibly important to me since it holds such sentimental value. Prices are fair. I’ll most definitely be back to support this local business. Thanks...
