Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Pensacola

Food was good as always but the service was lousy. Guy behind the counter made it clear from the get go that I was an annoyance and he very much didn't want to serve me. Gave me a look when I entered and said good evening; rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to give me a minute before ordering and rolled his eyes again when I made my order. Had the guy in the back prepare the sub while he prepared other customers' orders who entered after me. Thought he was gonna ring them up before me too, but surprisingly he didn't. I thought about giving two stars for the food quality, which is always good, but after thinking about the incredibly rude service I just can't. Don't go here, seriously, pick another location or choose another...

I usually walk into an excited group of folks working at Jersey Mike's locations across the country. I was there a little earlier "9:51" before opening and the door was locked but the Open sign was illuminated. So I sat down outside till about 9:58 when an employee walked up to the door and then someone inside let him in. I guess they now were officially opened. I ordered a sub, really wasn't much to converse about with these folks, must've been to early in the morning. I've asked for pickles on the side at other locations and always get them, not here. Anyway, the sandwich was good, the bread was fine, they did make a good sandwich but I definitely go for the friendly atmosphere and it was surely lacking....

Dissapointed.. Manager was very rude, when i asked to substitute a different style ham on my sandwich (as capicola does not agree with me) i was given a unfamiliar rude response “Thats a whole different sandwich if you swap that meat” ok. So can i do it? “NO YOU CANT HAVE THAT MEAT. YOULL HAVE TO ORDER SOMETHING ELSE” I thought these subs could be made to order as well, it shouldnt be that hard to substitute? Well i guess that was too difficult to understand for this guy.. i eat here all the time and thats the first time i was told no to a substitution. Maybe its new staff that needs to be trained? Hate to leave a bad review as i love this shop and its awesome employees. today just left a bad taste...
