Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Pensacola

This company gets 5 stars for delicious cakes but 2 stars for customer service which makes a 3 star average and this is why....My job ordered a cake from this place and this was my first time ever hearing about this bakery. The cake was delicious! It was OMG in flavor and moisture. It was a yellow, lemon flavored confetti cake. I brought some home to my husband and he fell in love too. He is a lemon cake lover. So we ordered online that upcoming weekend a confetti cake. When we picked it up and brought it home, we noticed the inside was a white confetti cake. So I figured maybe I need to notate lemon confetti in the special instructions section when I order next time to get that same cake I had at my job. So I ordered another cake 2 weeks later and notated for it to be a lemon confetti not white. They call and tell me there is no way they can make a lemon confetti cake. Their confetti cake is made one way and that's white only. I explained that my job purchased a lemon/yellow confetti cake from you but they were still adamant that it can't be done. So I said go ahead and make the cake the regular way they do it because, like i said, its still delicious, but we are lemon cake lovers in my household so I know lemon when i see it. I sent my husband to pick up the cake and he showed the picture of the yellow cake from my job (that i took a picture of) and the white cake we ordered from them the previous week and they admitted it was confetti cake but still said they don't do lemon/yellow confetti cakes. So now I'm thinking someone at the bakery made a mistake with the cake at my job and they don't want to own up to that OR maybe you have to be a long time customer to get special flavors...or something else I don't know. But its so awkward for a bakery to say they cannot change or make a specific kind of cake flavor. I think I would've felt better if they would've said, "yes I see that is a yellow confetti cake and I'm not sure why but we don't usually make them that way" instead of "no, we do not do that, we can only do this". I don't know, wording makes a big difference to me. It's not what you say, its how you say it. Its so strange and I wish i could post the 2 pictures with this review but there are definitely 2 obviously different confetti cakes that came from...

Abominable Lack of Service- I’ve been in the store three times. The first time with my husband about 30 minutes before closing. The employees stared at us like we were aliens. It was obvious they were wanting to be closed. We had never been in there before, and walked out after being ignored. Second time was with my co-workers - again, the employees were silent and rude. The topper was recent when I ordered and paid for a cake last week over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up, there was a line six deep. Two employees were visible behind a partial door and didn’t come out to help. When I finally got up to the counter, I was told they had “ frosted the wrong cake” and I’d have to wait 15 minutes. I had left work to go out of my way to pick up the cake, and I was due somewhere else. After 20 minutes, I came back in the store, and the teen employee ignored me and went the back. I finally got my cake. I wrote this to the company and no one has contacted me. I’ll never buy a thing there again. It’s the worst treatment I’ve received...

I forgot I was going to post a good review and I am just getting around to doing so almost 3 months later lol in February my best friend had her birthday and everything in the world that could go wrong. Definitely did go wrong. Down to who was going to be picking up the cake😑. Three people canceled on picking it up and they closed before I was supposed to get off work.😭😭I was in tears when I called the store the employees informed me that after they closed they had to clean up so they would wait for me. They literally offered to wait after the store closed So that I could Pick up this cake that they already had their money for. The customer service was immaculate and I still can’t believe they offered to do that for me. I didn’t end up having to come after they closed because my boss let me off early after I started crying😂🙈 It’s not just service either. They have the best cakes I have ever eaten. I absolutely love this place and recommended to everyone super affordable super yummy and super amazing customer service...
