My boyfriend and I are frequent, adoring customers of Mr. Pollo here in Pensacola and heard that they had expanded to The Garden at Palafox which is what led us to adventure here. Mr Pollo has THE SAUCES Y'ALL...for whatever your needs are!!! We visited The Garden at Palafox on Saturday, July 25th 2020 around 2PM and did not have an issue with overcrowding or finding a place to sit. We walked around and scoped out all of the options and eventually placed an order at Boca Latin Kitchen. We intended on eating here anyways but wanted to see what all they offered. We ordered three items: 1)Yuca Loca, 2)Pepito, 3)Reina Pepiada, to try and share all of them. All three were absolutely delicious and different from what we are used to at Pollos. Coke fountain products are available for drinks. If you like french fries🍟 but hate when they get soggy you MUST try their Yuca fries (Yuca Loca). They stay crispy and flaky throughout the whole meal even when topped with cheese, sauce (THE SAUCE WAS SO GOOD!), and toppings such as onions, meats, or pico de gallo.🧅🧀 The Pepito had these little potato crunchies that really added an extra layer of texture to the sandwich. They use alot of the same ingredients but in completely different ways so if you have tried the restaurant (6404 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504) & liked it, you are SURE to be a fan! Speaking of fans, they have multiple large fans going to keep the air flowing and temperature down. 💨❄With the fans and the open concept, it really was not as hot as one would expect on a late July midday in Florida. They were quick at wiping down tables and chairs once one group got up and before the next sat down. 🧽🧹🧼Staff that was cooking as well as staff that were cleaning up tables and emptying trash were all wearing face covering and gloves.🧤😷 Plenty of trashcand located to place trash upon finishing.🗑🚮 As for bathrooms or a place to wash your hands; I did not see these as I did not really think to look for them(I carry hand sanitizer and didn't need the restroom), so I'm not able to say if these amenities are...

The Garden started off as a little street corner where a variety of food trucks moved in to give its customers a wide selection of fine dishes to choose between. Over the years, I've been here several times and witnessed the changes from a little corner stop to a fully themed restaurant that offers an even wider array of delicious foods for all. My last trip, I stopped at the Flip-N-Yaki. Like every visit to any of the trucks, the service was fast and friendly and always full of smiles and positive energy. They made this late lunch/early dinner meal quite something by providing delicious and freshly cooked meals that were both appealing to the tastes as well as the eyes. This particular vendor made sure to treat the meal as if I was planning to share my few, presumably small, plates with a hoard of friends. Stacked tall and thick, I left with enough food to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner the following day from this one order. Whether that's their usual practice, or they were just in high spirits, they made my evening all the better for it. My companions and I left with full stomachs and a jolly mood as we carried on into the night downtown. Every chance I get to come downtown, I'm sure to try another one of the trucks that have made The Garden on Palafox their home, and I haven't found fault...

The Garden in downtown Pensacola, right on the corner of Main Street and Palafox, is a must-visit spot if you’re looking for variety, atmosphere, and great local eats. This open-air food truck hub is perfect for families, friends, or anyone wanting to grab a bite while enjoying the energy of downtown Pensacola.

What sets The Garden apart is the variety—whether you’re craving tacos, burgers, fresh seafood, or something unique, the rotating lineup of food trucks always delivers. It’s casual, fun, and affordable, making it a great alternative to traditional sit-down restaurants. The seating areas are comfortable, dog-friendly, and the vibe is laid-back but lively—ideal for both lunch breaks and evening hangouts.

The location couldn’t be better. Being right on Palafox Street, you’re in the heart of downtown and just steps away from shops, nightlife, and the waterfront. It’s the perfect place to start a night out or to grab a quick meal before heading to a show or event.

If you’re visiting Pensacola or considering living nearby, The Garden is a great example of the city’s growing food scene and community vibe. Clean, convenient, and full of flavor—it’s become one of our favorite...

We went to Gallery Night (don't go early!) Wandering back towards our car, we decided to find a place to eat while we were in the area. We happened upon The Garden at Palafox. What a fun spot! It's a hidden food truck park so there are multiple food options. It has a bit of a jungle theme...you totally forget that you just walked off the streets of downtown Pensacola. It's a covered area with huge ceiling fans that made it quite comfortable on a warm night. We got burgers at Ox Kitchen...messy delicious burgers. One order of fries was more than enough for 3 people. Excellent date night, hangout place. It is casual with picnic tables and fun music. It was about $45-50 for 2 burgers, 1 patty melt, 1 order of special fries, 1 soft drink, and 2 waters. Definitely would go again.

We love this place! Tasteful, modern, tropical, boho decor in an open air food court with plenty of shade and big fans. Cool vintage airstreams for the hot food and smaller stalls for dessert. Lots of choices, sure to please any palate. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Don't miss out on the melts or the mac n cheese! Can't wait for my next visit to try even more. Kid and pet friendly.

What a fantastic idea! Every city and town needs a food truck court! With a few improvements...it was so busy we got knocked and stepped on while eating our food. I'd go for German beer hall style tables in a long row with clear aisles so people know exactly where to walk. The ordering system on tablets and text to phone is absolutely ace. No lineups that way!
